Hello Everyone.
I thought it would be great if we started this group again. anybody interested? if so, please post your goals, plans..
I'm going to try to run around 4 miles each morning and then some days I will have a boot camp in the evening or else I will finish out the evening with 5 more miles.
Did I mention that I LOVE working out?!
Heheh
Excellent, Marbear123. Please feel free to come back here tomorrow to report. I do too like working out esp in the mornings. do you do only cardio?
Good morning Marbear123,
Did you have your workout today?
hey safina1!
I don't only do cardio. My boot camp involves working muscles all over my body. I do that only twice a week. I wish I could do it more, but I'm so extremely busy!
I did work out this morning. I only ran 3 miles though. I plan on going for a run right now actually. I didn't feel like I did that well earlier. My legs felt like cement blocks. Gahh! I hate that feeling! :)
Excellent. I too did work out this morning and it was great. I do elliptical. I also do weight training but trying to ease into it since I have had such a long break.
See you tomorrow morning. Hope you enjoyed your evening running:)
tell me more about boot camp. I have't tried it before. There is a class but I am a bit hesitant to go.
Good luck.
Today, i couldn't do it in the morning but had a chance to workout in the evening.
I hope some new members will join that group.
Marbear123, did you work out this morning?
Hi! I am a morning exerciser! My son and I get up at 4:45am and go to the Y to workout. He has been swimming laps in the pool, and I have been on the eliptical(sp?). It's a nice way to burn 300-400 calories at the beginning of the day. I too am very busy, so, if we don't go in the morning, I don't get it in...I have gone to a couple of zumba classes in the evening, but I can't be committed to them because of my schedule. We take Saturday off usually, which probably isn't good, but I miss sleeping in, so that is my "treat" each week. We are going on our 3rd week.
See you!
Hey Baggiepants,
Thank you for your post. Glad to hear from you. I love working out in the mornings too. It just feels right. I am impressed that you and your son wake up at 4 am. What time do you go to bed? I tried to get up at 5 am but it is just so hard. However, I managed to get some morning workouts in this week.
A morning swimming exercise is like heaven, I guess. :))
keep posted here. would love to hear from you.
by the way, it is ok to take a day off. it is actually important.
Have a nice weekend.
If anyone would like to join the morning workout group, please post your plans, progress here.
Hello my name is Giovanna. G for short. I have never been so non-motivated in my life. I am 45 years old and I need some serious motivation. I am about 40lbs. overweight. I cannot get motivated. Can someone please help me? I know I can only help me, but I can't seem to do this. Have anyone of you ever experience this?
Need all the help I can get.
G
Good Morning-
I would love to join this group. I work out in the mornings during the week. I am usually at the Gym by 6am for weights and cardio.
I find the morning the best time to workout. It gives me energy to start my day and leaves my evenings free for other obligations.
Morning workout do sometimes have a downside though. I get ready for work at the gym so after my shower I went to get dressed and realized my shampoo had spilled all over my work clothes. Arghhhh. Luckily I live relatively close to the gym so I wasnt too late for work.
welcome G and Lindsay.
It feels good to workout in the mornings. I have found out that if I don't workout first thing in the morning, I can't do it after work.
what are your plans?
