5:30a - 1 hour Hatha Yoga tape
Checking in for today.  Did 20 minutes of HIIT on stationary bike.  Shrot workout as had a late night last night.  *wink*  Hope to do better tomorrow.

Got up this morning at 3:15, made it to the gym by 4:30.  I did the stair climber for 30 minutes and then the elliptical for another 30 minutes.  I am trying to trick my body so I will be back at the gym by 4:30 this afternoon.

I did an hour of my Circuit "kick butt" class at 5:30 am at my gym this morning (I hate suicides! ^_~)
Hey Everyone!! I am an early workout person too.  If i don't get up at 4:45 and leave the house at 5 to go to the gym when my boyfriend leaves for work, i don't get to the gym.  So, sometimes it is really hard to wake up that early, but that is the only time i have available.  My goal is to get up 4 times a week to go.  I feel like i need to be in bed around 9 though if i don't want to be tired in the morning!!
Hi gang, Sorry I havn't checked in for a day or so but something weird has beeen going on with my body. I am naturally a morning person but yesterday and today I couldn't get up. through my classes my body felt physically fine but I felt like my eyes were tired. I couldn't keep them open and all I felt like I wanted to do was close my eyes. I feel much better now it is 6:25 in the morning but this morning my eyes just would not open though my body was ready to go! has this ever happened to any one else? I did work out yesterday but much later in the day and at a much lower intensity. I think because I have been working my body so hard maybe it was telling me something like give me a break! I will work out after I get home from school  but I hope to be back tomorrow with the rest of the early birds cause I feel like my day is wasted when I don't get up when I should. whole days off balance?

Congrat to all the rest of you who have been toughing it out and doing the rise and sweat thing 

k8ly- suicides are brutal but very effective good job!!!  I actually forgot  about them think I will do a few of those w/ kids after school. thanks for the idea

45 minute routine on treadmill this morning; plenty of hills.  Sandwiched between 18 minute stroll to and from gym.  Have a great day all!
I finally did it!! Got up an hour early and did my 45 minute scuplt and weights DVD!! Thanks for the inspiration.

I still do not know what is going on with me I been on a two day binge like I can't stop eating and the sweeter the better. I think that may be why I am having trouble getting up is my sugar may be to high. Cause I am in super zip mode now with a ton of guilt as well .  Any suggestions or ideas I don't know why I am in self sabotage mode all of a sudden. today I think was due to I did not have time to eat breakfast before I took the kids to school so I came home starved and what is on the counter but the kids sweets . All the stuff I don't typically like that tasted delicous today and better in mass quantity. hh well maybe I can walk for like six to eight hours or until I come crashing down of my sugar high. lol 
Way to go katann!  (see, that wasn't so bad, was it ^_^)

mabear!  Me too!  Yesterday - I could. not. stop. eating!  and it started the day before - and I didn't want fruit, and I didn't want veggies - I wanted the ice cream and tons of the little bittie chocolates I keep around for little desserts. 

I honestly think we're just at the two week mark where it gets hard.  (I saw you restarted in the clean eating challenge - again - me too!)  I couldn't get up to work out today - I was just so tired.  I'm not sure if it's because I've been working out and going on less calories the last two weeks, or just a psychological block.  Maybe I'm just obsessing too much. 

Let me know if you figure out a solution, cuz my determination is waivering cuz I feel sooo tired today.  I want comfort food!
k8ly- I don't know what is happening I don't think its TTOM yet it could be that we are still trying to wean our bodies from foods we didn't think twice about before! Today was another bad day no work out at all , I have to start the clean eating challenge over yet again tomorrow and when I read your post on choclate I said I"LL TAKE TWO. I don't even want to think about weighing in because I am afraid I'll go off the deep edge. All I can say is there is always tomorrow or at least I hope.

I am making a new pledge to be here tomorrow at 5:30 after a 1 hour workout and to not eat anything unless I have the alloted calories for it. We have lasted this long If we take it a day or even a minute at a time we can do this I know. :p

Got up and got my 30 minute Lotte Berk Essentials tape done before my daughter woke up. Also managed to empty the dishwasher and pay a couple of bills! Where is everyone? ( I need you all!!)
I am here katann I havn't had a chance to workout yet but am plannig to do it this afternoon. my catapolt was broken But I am eatin very well and not bingeing today!!!  I think my daughters and I are walking for 60 minutes and then doing 30 mins my biggest loser dvd. right now I am working on getting some of literature home work done so I don't have to worry about it any hoo WTG Katann!! kepp up the good work and watch those pounds fall off!!
ok I did it I got up and did 30 minutes low impact cardio dance yeah me!!! Is there any one else out there????

What do you guy say to stepping up this challenge we did it for a couple weeks and every one is like disappearing . What if we held this challenge for all early birds for a month?  we all get up every morning for 30 days and work out together! And for the winner, that much closer to your goal with some added mtivation.

Good morning everyone:

I did my morning workout for 45 minutes and it was great.  I couldn't work out last week because I had an injury and was really tired.

Mabear: I am very proud of you. Keep up the good work. Yes, we need new ideas to motivate each other. Let me know what you think.

Katann and Shape7: You are doing a great job. If you have any new ideas, please let us know.

I was thinking about starting a new walking challenge. Can you guys walk early morning?

Sometimes, I walk like 30 blocks to my gym and i feel great but I have never done that in the morning.

Another idea: Did you hear about the Cool Running Program? ( the couch - to- 5 K Plan? I like it so much and really want to give it a try but need motivation.

Who might be interested in something like that?

We can choose the winner every month or every week or even every two weeks. What do you think? I think a month would be a bit long but maybe every two weeks will be a good period of time.
