Earring infection

Ok i need some help with this, im trying not to be very explicit with descriptions -_-...

Well, i have a question, yesturday i felt my left ear was a bit moisty, so i went chek it, i took the earring off and well, it wasnt red or anything(mayb a bit red), but it was swollen. i started presing on it to take all the horrible stuff from there, and i was just like pissed off because it just doesnt end, keeps comin out! i washed it for lyk 1 hr or so!!, today... i hav no clue, i think its a bit less swollen,  i washed it again in the morning, and then washed it again at night, i put some antibiotic cream or something like that... i realy hav no clue what to do :S. Also less crap(wutever liquid yelowish-reddish stuff that comes out of the infection thing... i hav no clue either) came out of my ear hole thingy... i hope thats good -_-...

i would like someone to tell me what to do with it, or what to do so it heals, my ear is more fked cus of all the squeeze ive done to it rather than for the infection... if its an infection.

Is it like an abscess? Is there a lump? Most abscesses need to be drained and then take some oral antibiotics to completely kill the infection.

The yellowish stuff coming out is pus, and the red is blood.

You have probably irritated it enough to make it more inflamed and irritated.

I would go to a Doctor and make sure it's checked out asap.

It's an earring? Did you just get it pierced? Should soak it in sea salt water and keep the earring in to keep the infection from being trapped inside. You could also use a bit of peroxide to help kill some bacteria, but don't use it too often.

That is the reason that I let my holes close up.  I got tired of having infections.

If you get green stuff coming out go and see your doctor immediately.

Make sure that you soak all of your earrings in alcohol.

And don't go to bed with earrings on.

I always take my earrings out before bed and wipe the stem of the earring in tea-tree oil before putting them back in in the morning.

You could also try disolving rock salt in hot water, then wait for it to cool a little, soak some cotton wool in the hot/warm water & cover the infected area with the cotton wool unitl it cools, then repeat with a new piece of cotton wool.

This can help draw out any of that nasty goo. It's what most piercing places recommend to help heal piercings & any infections. Worked on my nose piercing when that got infected.

I have this type of reaction every time I wear earrings.  I rarely wear earrings and if I do, it's only for a few hours then I need to remove them.

I would keep all earrings out, put some cream on it and if it doesn't improve, call a doctor.

Ok, thx everyone for your help, idk if its getting better, but i keep cleanin it and im goin 2 c the doctor tomorro :)

Yes pretty much - unless I'm having a lazy day. 

I had some nasty pus ridden earring holes in the past so I don't take the risk these days. (sorry if that's tmi)
