Quote  |  Reply
So maybe were a little old for this, but I'm sure some of you still get easter baskets from those loving 'you-should-stay-a-kid-forever' parents..

So, what do you think you're getting/What do you want/ What don't you want (What do you want to avoid)/What are you going to do with yours?

Just thought It would a a fun festive topic for Easter (:

You are never too old for an Easter basket! Ha, I'm 15, and we don't even celebrate Easter yet I still get an Easter basket. I definitely want some dark chocolate cause it's my fave. And some Reese. Anything yummy (which is pretty much any candy to me.) Oh, peeps would be good. I don't really like whoppers though. I'm going to eat mine, hopefully over the course of several weeks-months depending on how much I get.
I hinted at a box of Godiva chocolate and a bag a sweet tart jelly beans (My favorite!!) to my mom, but I'll have to wait and see to know what I get for sure.

probably all kinds of chocolate and some jelly beans.

I'm so terrible with staying committed to eating healthy,

I can only imagine Easter will be bad for this.

I have a weakness for chocolate.

haha

We don't celebrate Easter, so I'm gettin' nada.  I do, however, get to spend the night of Easter filling up water balloons in preparation for a holiday I do celebrate.

DINGLES DAY!  Maybe the Polish will remember it better as Dingus Day, but in Toledo's Polish Village, we learned it was Dingles Day.  It's the day after Easter and all the girls swarm the streets with water balloons, huntin' for boys to pulverise.  I'm locking Alex out of the house Monday morning, perching myself on the kitchen counter, and am letting him have it.  He'd better hope the snow thaws by then and the weather warms up.  I'm showin' no mercy.
Hm, seems like everyones mostly gettin' chocolate..

And I know jelly belly makes sugar free jelly beans in sour and regular, and they also make sugar free gummy bears.. just a thought for people who aren't sensative to artificial sweetners if you're lucky enough to find them. The Jelly beans I know are 70-80 calories depending on which one you get for 35 beans, and I havn't tried the gummy bears because I can't find them, but you can probebly look up the nutritionals.

Also, this year, they have sugar free Peeps :D I havn't had them, but they seem like they'd be good, once again, if you're not sensitive to artificial sweetners.. I belive its 60 calories for a small pack.

Ahaha, Cellulitedelight, that's good. I don't think I've ever heard of 'Dingles Day'.. Hm, might start a new tradition this year...

So, What is everyones favorite Easter candy anyway? Dosen't have to be healthy.. Hell, if its Easter candy, I dont think it can.

my mom knows if she gives me candy i'll stash it for later, forget about it, then two years later try to give it to my brothers who don't care that it's ancient. so i'm getting a sims 2 stuff pack ;)

i got money, boots and 2 pairs of jeans (:

chocolate and sweets arent really my thing.... despite the ED, they never actually have been....

Since I am the Mom, I did easter baskets for my 3 kiddos (all young enough to mostly think the Easter Bunny brought it-or pretend to keep it comming!).  They all 3 got Reese's peanut butter eggs, mini-robin eggs, twizlers, chocloate eggs and bunny, kit kats, and jelly beans.  I put out a basket for me and my husband to keep my husband out of the kids stash!!  Two of them (my boys) also got the My Sims DS game and my daughter got a pink poodle Webkin- they were all VERY happy!  I already indulged a bit last night, but not too bad since it is all in small individual sizes, I had one of each except the twizler!!  About 200 calories worth, but I am done with it now!!  We will got out for lunch and that should be a fat bomb meal, then back to the CC for the rest of the day.  One cheat meal a week works for me and is something to look forward to.  Happy Easter.

CHOCOLAAAATES!!! T_T

Well, seeing as today is Easter...lol...I got flip flops, a book, a cooking light magazine, and some candy like peeps, robins eggs, a reeses pieces "carrot," a small lindt dark chocolate bunny, and a marshmallow egg and a truffle egg. :-)

$20 from Mom!  :) (yes im almost 25) I got candy up until a few years ago...sent it to my dorm when I was at school...

Aww... you guys are making me a teeny bit envious! I got a chocolate egg from my mom... which she later ate.

I got lots; not to brag or anything. I'm only thirteen, so my mom's still pushing the whole "Easter bunny" thing to me and my brother. Last night she was all, "You know I'm the Easter bunny, right?" I, obviously, said yes. "How long have you known?" she continued to say. Hahah; I've known a long time now - sorry mom.

  • GIANT one-pounder chocolate bunny
  • Bag of Starburst jellybeans
  • Bag of raw almonds, dried blueberries, and cranberries
  • Two chocolate-caramel eggs
  • Recee's mini peanut butter cups
  • A (awesome) stuffed pink bunny
  • Stuffed chick that quacks (you know you're jealous)
  • $30 itunes card
  • $50 Macy's card
I love Easter. xD
Haha zebulan... I am TWENTY and my bro is SIXTEEN and my mom STILL does the whole Easter Bunny thing...  She knows it's lame and I think she still does it just to make us cringe!  She'll say stuff like, "How did you like what the Easter Bunny brought you?" as if we don't know by now.

Fortunately (for me at least) my family was visiting my uncle across the country this Easter, so I didn't get an Easter basket and I didn't have to worry about being tempted by chocolate and/or trying to pawn it off on my bf...  I hardly even like chocolate but I'm one of those types who feels like I HAVE to eat it just cause it's there.  Not this year though!  Instead I went for a long meandering hike alone in the woods, and ate some nuts and granola bars along the way.  It was a beautiful day and a great way to spend Easter.

I had 1 package of those cadbury mini egg things. It was like 300 something calories but I worked into my daily amount. It was awesome, didn't feel like I was missing out! Plus it was fun finding them, my mom's a good hider!

I got a 5 pound bag of skittles...
My dad is trying to kill me lol.

damn 1lb bunny SOLID

and tons of reeses eggs [omG i love them]

and the most adorable lil bunny thing [a windup toy that i LOVE]

and my bf gave me dark chocolate dipped pretzels [he knos i love dark chocolate]
