How much should I eat if BMR is 1280?
Hi I am 19 and only 5ft tall.
The average i got out of all the BMR calculators online was about 1280cal/ day.
With "Sedantary" selected for activity, it is about 1550 cal/ day.
I do exercises that expends about 100- 200 cal a day.
How many calories should i be eating if I want to lose few of the last pounds?
BMR calculators aren't particularly appropriate if you're under 20 or 21. If you go to this link and enter your stats you may get a more accurate picture. http://www.kidsnutrition.org/bodycomp/bmiz2.h tml Deduct 500 cals only from the final number if you need to lose weight. Minimum you should aim for is 1500 cals a day. If you are at all active for up to an hour a day - walking anywhere, doing housework, any exercises - then you're lightly active and you should read off the information accordingly. On the whole it's better to be a little more active rather than trying to starve yourself thinner.
