what to eat with chron's disease
my sister has chron's disease and i am trying to figure out if certain diets really do work... please share your recommendations if you have any on what you eat that does not upset your stomach or has improved your symptoms. i have read that gluten free is a good route to go but i am not sure... it seems as if at the moment, the only thing she can tolerate are chicken, fish, and white breads (for some reason wheat breadsirritate her stomach, as well as fruits, vegetables and anything that has seeds). thanks.
Check out the links below and subsequent links re: Dr. Thomas Borody's work treating Crohn's with antibiotics. The clinical work on this has been very promising and may mean your sister has a hope of complete recovery:

Also, staying away from milk/cream might also make sense. Hope it helps.
