How Much Can I/Should I Eat???

Quote  |  Reply

Im 6''0' and 156lbs, ive been poor most of my life, so im not accustomed to eatting alot of food, i work out 3 times a week and i want to get up to maybe 180 or so but i dont want to turn into a huge fatty, so how many calories should i take in??? i think i usually take in roughly 1500-2000, and i figure with work i burn about 600 calories and living added to that, = another 1000 a day, so i seemingly burn 1600 calories a day, so would it be bad if i took in 2500-3000??

Probably closer to 3500 calories a day. And you will gain some fat as well. This is normal, for example body builders, but then they cut weight before a competition. You just need to do the opposite of everyone here trying to lose weight. Eat a surplus of calories in relation to your calories burned for the day.

Figure out how much you're actually eating, if your weight is stable on that amount then add 500, if you don't gain weight on that after a couple weeks add 500 more...
