Do You Eat Healthy Foods But Do Not Exercise?
I eat healthy foods but i do not exercise . Why ? Because about 18 months ago, after i had my 2nd son,i needed to lose about 25 kg , so i lowered my calories and started exercise . 4 weeks - no change ,i didnt feel any better or worse and i didnt lose weight. So i stopped exercise . Weight started to drop ! And within 2-3 months i lost those extra 25 kg .
Now i am nearly at my perfect weight, and i was going to start exercise after i lost what i wanted . But whats the point ? I feel and look great,i got energy, and i am happy . I would have to give up something to find time for exercising . And i dont like exersicing . For me its something i have to do,not something i enjoy doing . So i cant find any reasons to start exercise.

As many have noted, "exercise" doesn't have to mean going to the gym. It can mean walking to work/school/stores. It can mean playing with kids. It can mean household chores.
I got active life , but i dont count that as exersice ,because its just my life, things that must be done (shopping/taking kids to the park/cleaning the house) . its just part of my daily routine.
By "exersice" i mean anything like fast walking/running/going to the gym/cycling/swiming or dvd workout. And i dont like any of these. When i said that i was going to start exersice after i lost weight,i even got a dvd
its called "Total Fitness In 12 Minutes A Day For Women" ha ha . But its still sealed , i cant make myself do exersice even for 12 minutes a day . Thats how much i dont like to exersice.I would always find something more interesting to do.
Yeah - no one "exercised" 100 years ago, but they sure "lived" hard. As long as you get your heart pumping for a while - and mopping, carrying groceries up the stairs, or playing with the kids will do it - then that gets you what you need.
you know...it really is a mind set. People who work out a lot think differently about it. It is not so much that I like pain, I am no masochist, but I have a pretty high pain tolerance after years of karate. ( I have a black belt) from a young age I was taught discipline, and not to complain. I learned to compete gracefully and stay focused. Things that carry over into other areas of life. I was also in ROTC in high school and did a lot of boot camp classes in college.
When I was in ROTC in high school, I was overweight and HATED working out. I dreaded running. Whenever I felt and thought that way, I ran even worse. 99% of your energy and enthusiasm for the exercise comes before you step into the gym. (or the track, pool, whatever you like to do)If you tell yourself how awful it is you will never get the benefits you could have gotten.
I love to work out. Not because I like to stink, or hurt. I appreciate how much more toned I am than other people my size. I love when I am a little sore, because I know that it means that part of me is being forced to get stronger.
Some studies show that people who work out tend to be depressed less and mroe confident....it is a good way to let off steam. When you start to work out enough so that your body adjusts to it, you start to feel differently about it.
I used to struggle to run 2 blocks. Now, if I miss two days at the gym, my body craves that release. It is one of those things that you miss more once you realize how badly it felt not to do it. But don't take my word for it. Just try to think about the benefits only, and ignore the temporary pain, or discomfort. It may just grow on you.
Sorry so long.
