How can we eat healthy on movie night at home?

We have movie night at home once a week with the family and we usually have pizza or spaghetti. On those days, it is hard to eat just one slice of pizza or to stop from getting another serving of spaghetti. Do you have any suggestions on how to make movie night with family more healthy? Hopefully, the suggestions will keep harmony among family members.
Answer
Are looking for easy, healthy meals or better quality take-out? With pizza, balance is the key: Serve a huge salad dressed with oil and vinegar, and don't order more than you need - that way, the family will have to branch into new foods to get full. Would they eat seasonal fruit, veggies on the pizza, hummus and baby carrots, yogurt, or smoothies? Ultimately, it's best to have a repertoire of quick, health meals you can make in a flash. For instance, chili is super healthy. Serve it with rice, salad, milk, and fruit. Save room for healthy air-popped or oil-popped popcorn during the movie. To get the family onboard with healthy eating, ask them to look through magazines like Cooking Light and Eating Well for recipes to try. Also involve kids in cooking to open them up to new foods.
