What to eat to increase calorie intake
Ideally my calorie intake should be 1200 however I am not able to cross the mark of 1000. I eat through out the day without starving myself.
I eat lot of fruits and vegetables.
What else should I eat to incraese my calorie intake?
nuts are always a good healthy way to increase your cals intake...
When you're on a very low calorie intake for awhile your stomach shrinks and it feels like you're having 'enough food' when the calorie meter clearly shows that you're way under... the only way to reverse it is to MAKE yourself eat more for a few days so that your stomach enlarges a little to make room for the extra calories. Or else you can 'drip feed' yourself and eat every few hours whether you're hungry or not... not just lettuce and carrot sticks either - food with a real calorie value to bring up your total.
just eat healthy calorie dense food, like avocados or peanut butter or nuts etc... or a cookie? Tempting...
Almonds, peanuts, peanut butter, protein bar . . . I usually have the same thing happen to me, so I try to eat w/e i want which makes me feel good actually. doesnt feel like im restricting anything, while im actually on a diet .
I went to a nutritionist and she said just to add a handful of nuts or a yogurt and apple to your day try to keep it a protein source- you will be surprised at the results - I went right through my plateau and started losing again. Good Luck!
