Thank you for responding! I guess I'm in range then. Thanks again!
Hi, I'm a 30 yo stay at home mom. I'm 5'4" and weigh 169 and I've been eating about 1600-1800 calories per day. I do the elliptical machine for 40 minutes a day and strength train 3 times a week and do pilates 2-3 times per week.

It's been working for me!

I had been eating about 1200-1400 per day but I think that was too low. When I increased my calories I started losing a little bit faster. Hoping it continues like this!
PS I just added you to my friends list since we have similar stats! :)

Wow, we have really similar stats.  I'm 5'4 and at 174-176.  I've been feeling frustrated lately because like this week I worked out 4 days, doing an hour of cardio everyday.  I usually do the spinning or kwando classes.  My recommended calorie is 1350 daily.  I'm not sure if that's right.

Twocutekids, I might  take your suggestion about upping the calories a bit because I'm not losing like I should for the amount of exercise I'm doing.

I have about the same stats too.  That's where I'm trying to stay as well but it's only been two weeks for me.  The first week was great lost 3 lbs. the second gained one but had too much over the weekend and have my cycle this week.  I've also added you to my friends list.
yvettem, from what i understand your net calorie intake is 1350 but when you add exercise (let's say 300+ calories from your exercise that day) you must eat 300+ calories so the net will be 1350. Hope that helps!
tmz, thanks for the info.  I think I got it now :)
