What can I eat with my medicine before going to bed?

I take Lunesta to sleep and if I don't eat something, usually with carbs, I can't sleep. I'm trying to lose weight and I feel like carbs that late are bad.
Answer
Eating carbohydrates before going to bed is not a problem if you stay within your calorie budget. But with that said, you need only to choose a small snack, like one slice of toast or 1/2 cup of cereal with milk. For Lunesta to work best, you should not take it with or right after a heavy meal. In addition, a large snack may keep you awake.
