Eat Meter Daily Goal

Quote  |  Reply

Hi, I'm new here and just started logging my calories on tuesday. I'm a little confused about my eat meter daily goal. I have looked at the FAQ for it, but just want to double check, because I'm a little paranoid. I am a 5'9 Female and weigh 168.6 lbs, when I started officially on tuesday I weighed 169. It's telling me that I should be eating 2100 calories a day. So does that mean that if I eat 2100 calories a day I should lose weight or should I eat less than that?

That sounds a little high, but that depends... What activity level did you choose when you signed up? How many cals does your burn meter say that you burn in a day?

2180 calories, I picked the light moderate activity level, because I pretty much have to walk around every day on campus.

which that also makes me think, since I picked that activity level, should I still add activities that I do like walking around etc.? Is it all inclusive? haha I'm pretty confused about it all apparently

nevermind I recalculated it, and it says that to reach my goal weight of 149 lbs I should eat 1400 cal a day. Which is a lot less, and it makes more sense, because I was struggling to keep up with the calories. Hopefully this works Undecided
