Eat Meter Daily Goal

Quote  |  Reply

I have my account set to "maintenance" and activity set as "sedentary".

i log any activity that i do for the day.

my question is if im set as maintenance and i add excercise, my burn meter goes up, if i want to maintain then dont i want to eat my burn?  shouldnt the eat meter's daily goal then adjust?

thanks!

Yes, you want to eat your burn. But you set your own eat meter. The site will calculate it for you if you ask it to, but it won't recalculate it daily. You have to manually set it to what you want based on the average calories you need.

At least, if there IS a way to trigger the site to adjust your eat meter daily, I haven't found it yet.

so the eat meter i calculate, do you mean based on my stats and activity and overall goal?

so i have mine set as maintaining present stats and sedentary.

i suppose i could calculate my activity and add it to the sedentary eat goal, eat that amount and ignore the given eat goal bc itd be inaccurate?

thanks!

Pretty much.

I would let CC calculate it for you based on you being sedentary and maintaining. Then on days you work out, just mentally remember to eat 200 or 300 calories over your eat meter (depending on how much you burned).

But if you get a good amount of activity daily, it's probably easier to just set your activity to "light" and let CC calculate it that way so you don't have to add in what you burned, and your eat meter will be more accurate.

ahh, alright, thanks!

my activity doesn't add up to "light activity" though on most days, sucks!!!! lol
