I don't know how or why, but nothing I do has made it reappear. I have tried uninstalling the toolbar and reinstalling it. I have tried logging out and back in again.
One thing that is curious: Even when I am logged in, the tool bar still says "login". I am thinking that somehow the tool bar is not seeing that I am logged in.
Any suggestions? I really like the eat meter and I want it back!

Not sure what is going on. I'll ask if the team is working on a new program. When did you notice it?
I first noticed at 9:00am this morning. I had it last night when I went to bed.
