To eat more or not to eat more?

Quote  |  Reply

We went to a little mom and pop TexMex place for lunch and I ate as light as possible because I knew it'd be loaded. After adding it all into CC, I don't really think it was as many calories as those listed. Except it could be. But I'm sitting here at 1300 cals which is usually my goal for the day that I try not to go below. I'm still hungry since they were rather empty cals, but I don't want to go over by too much.

Can I snack a little more or should I call it a day with CC's guestimate?

Have a snack!

I'd say go for it with a lower calorie snack.

You could even make a delicious salad for next to no calories : D

Throw on some red wine vinegar (or some balsamic) and tada! Yummy and filling~

If you're hungry, eat something healthy for a snack... your calorie count for lunch was only a guestimate at best, and there isn't really any way to know if it was accurate, so listen to your body.

When i feel hungry after my day's worth, I have a kashi GOLEAN waffle or something with lots of fiber and protein.

Thanks, y'all :-). I did end up having a snack and I felt fine about it. I just kept it to around 100-150 so that even if I did underestimate, I still had a good deficit!

Just one of those situations where it's no big deal if it happens once or twice, but I could see somthing like this happening all the time with me since I tend to guess on my cals :-D.
