what to eat at the movies?
i don't go to the movies very often, but when i do venture out i bring ROASTED CHICKPEAS! they sound weird but they're incredible! they're super easy to make too. i would rather these than potato chips any day.
all you do is:
drain a can of chickpeas, coat in however much olive oil you like, season with whichever spices you fancy and bake for 30-40 minutes at 350F. Then sprinkle with salt.
(i've heard you can dry roast them without any oil but i havn't tried that yet)
I make my own air-popped popcorn and bring it in a ziploc bag.
Even if their popcorn wasn't full of oil, seriously NO popcorn is worth $5 for a bucket.
I bring my own unsweetened tea, too.
The only thing I ever eat at movies is popcorn. Candy just doesnt go with movies. I love popcorn. Seriously I pop a bag in the morning, put it in a baggy and eat it during school. My teachers think I need to gain weight so they dont care if I snack in their class. You could pop popcorn at home and then bring it with so its not as expensive (money or cal. wise)

I always take what I call the "movie theater" purse. Lol! This jumbo sized tote smuggles in 2 cans of diet pop, a baggie of reduced fat wheat thins, baby carrots and a tub of hommus. Also my brother has been know to pop a whole bag of pop corn and stuff it into my bag :-). Special K bars or granola bars are great too, and they can fit into a normal purse! :-)

HAHA my friends always make fun of me for sneaking in a subway sandwich! hey.. it's healthy, WAY less calories than the movie popcorn, and i get to enjoy diner and a flick at the same time!
One time rushing out of the house to get to the movies after my mom had already made dinner - I grabbed a spinach & asiago cheese chicken sausage, wrapped it in a paper towel, stuck it in my coat pocket and snuck it in with me to eat.
Will I lose weight if I eat the same food over and over?
