...how many calories do you eat for breakfast?

100 or less...I'm not much of a breakfast person and would rather have a big dinner...might not be the best way to do it.

About 300. I don't like to eat in the morning either, I usually have a slim fast shake.

I do split my breakfast as a morning snack too, bc I get real hungry an hour before lunch. With a cup of coffee: 300-450 cals.

I work until 5pm and have under 1000 before hitting the gym and coming home and starting dinner.

If I'm doing it right (because I don't always have the stomach or time for it!), I have about 275 cals for my "first meal": 2 scrambled eggs (no milk, a tablespoon of water), 1 slice of light wheat bread tosted, and 8oz of light chocolate soy milk. Lots of protein to make me feel full and get me to my mid morning snack which is about 100-200 calories. Then I'll have yogurt and/or some fruits and veggies.

I eat 350 calories for breakfast and then have a 100 calorie snack between that and lunch...sometimes if I'm still hungry I will eat another 100 calorie snack and then my normal lunch.  So between 450 and 550 calories in the am for me! :-)

Between 200 and 400, depending on whether I eat rice pudding or yogurt cereal or muesli or pancakes. (my fav breakfast treats)

On weekdays, I'm pretty routine when I'm counting my calories.  I have 1 cup of Kashi Cinnamon Harvest cereral (which is like a cinnamon shredded wheat with a hint of sweetness) and 1 cup of organic 1% milk.  290 calories.

Sometimes I'll do a honey-wheat (double fiber!) english muffin with honey.  I forget what the count is on that but it doesn't hold me as long as the cereal with milk does, so I need a yogurt or something before lunch.

In a pinch, I'll grab a 90 calories yogurt for breakfast and much on saltines mid-morning (120 I think) but that also will leave me starving by lunch.

300-400cal

breakfast is my most favourite meal of the day, and usually the one that I am most creative with

I usually have a serving of fruit, egg whites, and some kind of grain product with lots of fiber (oatmeal, oat bran, wheat bran, rice bran, fiber one) coffee with stevia, tea, and lemon water

I like to take a serving of grains and mix it with egg whites and make it into a protein/fiber pancake... then top it with fruit or cocoa or yogurt or sugar free syrup

I like to balance my carbs with lean protein, and breakfast is the only time that I will ever eat starchy carbs, but most days I stick to high fiber low starch/sugar carbs and I get about 20 grams of fiber at breakfast alone

I try to stick to 750 calories for breakfast and lunch.  This gives me a good 750 for an after workout snack, dinner and evening snack.  It has been working pretty well.  I usually like to eat a little something when I wake up and then a mid-morning snack before lunch.  This helps me to feel satisfied all day.

about 250 to 300, always bran flakes cereal and then either egg, banana or yoghurt.

wow i feel like i eat a lot now but breakfast is my fave meal so whatevs...about 500.

Scrambled eggs(egg whites only or 1 whole egg & 1 egg white), lean chicken sausages, oatmeal, weetabix, bran flakes, homemade protein shakes, whole wheat bread, fruit, yogurt, millet porridge......I mix these options up different mornings (I try to get in more protein though)

Oh and I figure its better to eat more calories especially from complex carb sources earlier in the day. A big dinner doesn't really make sense as you'll be pretty much horizontal all night.

Between 350 and 400 calories for breakfast.

I usually eat 300-400 calories.

For example:  3/4 cup fiber one (90 calories) with 1/2 cup skim milk (40), 3 egg whites microwaved (45) and 1 banana (100) and 1 apple (80) = 355 calories

I try and keep it at around 300, usually 1 cup kashi, 1/2 cup non-fat milk and half a banana.  Or Whole wheat english muffin with 1/2 tbl of smart balance, with a small can of V8 and 2 slices turkey bacon.  Those are my 2 go to breakfasts.

Mine's probably around 600.  I only ever eat oatmeal or cream of wheat.  But I LOAD it with peanut butter.

300-500 depending on how hungry I am and if I'm going anywhere before lunch.  I love breakfast, so I treat myself well.  It's my favorite meal, next to lunch and dinner.Tongue out

Try to hit 1200 to 1500 calories a day...but eat high nutrient good foods..mostly organic.

I do bran, raisins, almonds, banana, flax seed, psyllium, one toast and peanut butter and drink water.

I make sure I have a BM twice a day and breakfast gets the ball or "bowel" rolling.

lol

On weekdays I usually eat 250 - 350. I wake up too early to be hungry for much more! On weekends it is a different story entirely - I love to cook up a big late elaborate breakfast of about 500-600 calories or so. Brunch is really my favorite meal!

It usually runs like this for me:

3/4 C Nature's Path Granola = 240Kcal

1/2 C Plain yogurt = 80Kcal

OJ (Tropicana) = 110Kcal

Total = 430Kcal

Sometimes I make low-fat muffins and have that with a fruit and some yogurt. But 400 is the standard #. Hope this helps!

That's exactly what I eat! Daily... 1550 - 1700/ day... my menu for today. (fairly similar calorie wise, all week)

Breaky:

1 cup cottage cheese w/raisins- 250
egg beaters with a slice of ff cheese- 80

Snack:

fibre one bar- 140

Lunch:
salad w/dressing- 100
tuna- 60

Snack:
almonds- 100

Dinner:
2 brats- 640
salad w/dressing- 130
fried onions- 80

ice cream? -100

If I do decide to have the ice cream I'll be at 1680 for the day. Pretty typical.
