I know there are probably a million of these topics out there but I needed to start one for myself and anyone else who wants to post is welcome to. Also, if you have any advice, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I REALLY HOPE A MODERATOR SEES SOME OF THE POSTS ON THIS THREAD AND TAKES SOME ACTION.
THANKS!
I'm with alibsam...why?
bc some ppl are only eating slightly over 1000 cals maybe, thats not healthy, why display that. there are so many young ppl on this site, ppl bordering on eating disorders, or who have eating disorders, it is not healthy for the ppl eating these amounts or for other ppl to see these posts. just my opnion, hopefully im wrong, for everyone's sake.

Oy Vay. Your post are not conducive to the thread at all. Thats apparent in the last THREE post you made on here. You post and assume. Not cool.
wow, by no means do i want to start a fight so after this ill stop, but how is it an assumption when the total amount is stated to be below 1200, the minimum healthy amount to eat. thats all

Well considering this is a site for people also trying to lose weight, I'd just stay away from the forums you aren't enjoying! I am trying to get to a healthy weight for myself and in order to do so I should be eating between 1300-1500 calories. My post indicates that I have planned for 1020 cals today, but will be adding crackers and pb to my day and probably some other snack that will take me to over 1300 cals. Anyway, I'm sorry you feel this way. I'm thinking maybe this site should have a minimum age requirement.
Keep posting everyone, I love this forum - it's going to help keep me on track!

Thats where as a member of the forums, let the said posters make healthy desicions for themselves. I dont feel the need to say "OMG your not eating enough!!!" Its all about finding a balance with eating, calories, and exercise.
I can (sort of) see both sides of it.
I understand where everyone who posts here is coming from -being one of them-, because it is very helpful to post what we're eating when trying to lose or maintain a healthy weight. It's all about accountability- I'm less likely to overeat if I know that I'm coming on here and will post what I ate. I would expect people to freak out at me.
I can't speak for everyone that posts on this thread, but I would feel fairly comfortable speaking for mugzymoo and myself, that if we post meals & snacks that equal out to less than 1200, rest assured that there will be more consumed, that we've just posted the bare bones of our eating plan for the day.
It's almost a polar opposite from agru's perspective. After our brief correspondence on this thread agru, I looked at your profile, and saw that you post in a similar forum, except it's for those who are trying to gain, many of whom are recovering from ED's.
I can see how it might be triggering to look at this forum discussion, just as it might be triggering for someone here to go to the weight gain section.
I would assume that most who post on any thread on this site are striving to reach the point where they can maintain a healthy weight. Nobodies goal is to cause pain or a relapse to someone else, whether it be to over or under eat.
I think a good lesson for everyone on CC would be to avoid those threads that could be damaging to your goals. This isn't just aimed at agru, it is just as much a reminder for myself.
Lets all hold hands and sing Kumbaya ;)
Yesterday I totally overate at 2 different social functions- I had about 5 cookies, 6 squares and then so actual food as well. No idea what the calories were for the day, just moving on to a fresh day!
All of my meals are off for today, due to sleeping in very late, so I actually started the day by having breakfast at noon!

snack- cookie (100?...I know...I made a big batch and find it hard to stay out of them!)
lunch- soup (150), another cookie :( 100, square :( :( 100
supper- no idea.
To make matters worse, I just made a bday cake this afternoon, so I'll be having a -small- piece of that as well.

Steph, I wish I could be as disciplined as you...I know you slip up a bit here and there but man, I've been outright awful lately!
Today all I've managed is :
Bagel w/cream cheese, triple chocolate chip cookie!
Need to start making lunch and packing snacks...but going to be by 7:30 every night doesn't leave much time for that. I think my thyroid is out of whack again....Having headaches, acne, sleeping all the time, bloating! NOT good.....
