What did YOU eat today? (veg*n style)
Lunch has been done, but what about those other 2 meals and 2-3 snacks that are a part of our daily lives? How can we just leave them out like that? I'll begin (and this was yesterday):
Breakfast: egg with muesli, tomatoes and spinach, splash of skim milk, spoonful of lf ricotta and dash of cinnamon; pear with peanut butter.
Snack: banana; green tea.
Lunch: sandwich made with 2 slices of all natural honey flax bread, lf ricotta cheese spread, spinach, tomatoes, carrots, mushrooms and green olives; nonfat plain yogurt topped with raspberries and almond slices.
Snack: kashi cruncy TLC bar; green tea.
Dinner: 1/2 serving of lentil soup; corn; glass of skim milk.
Snack: glass of red wine.

carrots, grapes, apple
kale+collard green+raisins salad steamed in a sitrus juices/basalmic vinegar then chilled
refried styled beans made from crockpot cooked beans+butternut squash puree soup
spanish styled rice made from tomato based soup, onion, garlic and brown rice
cucumbers/red cabbage and tomato tossed with tangy apple salsa
homemade cinnamon scone
Breakfast: Homefries spiced with lots of Indian spices and red peppers with peanut butter toast and coffee
Snack: Peanut butter cookie Luna bar
Lunch: A grilled wrap made with black beans, tomatoes olives and chickpeas and all sorts of spices and things cooked down and blended into a paste, with shredded lettuce and carrots...it was amazing
Snack: A few Cape Cod chips
Dinner: A cheeseless red pepper and potato pizza with diet Coke and some limes
breakfast- 1 cup of [nature valley] oats&honey granola cereal, 1 cup of [silk] plain soy milk.
lunch- 1 veggie veggie wrap [hummus, veggies, tortilla wrap], berry berry blast smoothie [strawberries, blueberries, vanilla soy milk].
snack- [lightfull] satiety strawberry smoothie.
dinner- 2 slices of nondairy "cheese" on 2 slices of whole wheat bread, 3 veggie bites, 1 cup of almond milk.
Breakfast - smoothie of light soymilk, frozen banana, soy protein isolate, tbsp peanut butter
Snack - one slice reduced calorie wheat bread, 1 tbsp peanut butter
Lunch - Soup of vegan "chikn" broth, stir-fry veggies, spinach, ginger and soy sauce
Snack - cherry tomatoes
Dinner - (will be) Vegan BLTs - tofu with soy sauce, liquid smoke, maple syrup on toast with vegan no fat "mayo", lettuce and tomato - smoothie of slenderize with soy protein isolate and frozen blueberries
B- Oatmeal with maple. Big coffee w/ plain soymilk
L - Tabouleh salad made with quinoa instead of bulger, lots of lemon juice, parsley, garbanzo beans and red bell pepper with a sprinkle of chopped pistachios on top. Sesame rye crackers with avocado smushed on top (yum)
Snacks - sunflower seeds, apples, chai green tea, carrots
D- I look forward to black beans and rice with piles of my boyfriend's homemade salsa.
Dessert - cup of tea and 1 cigarette - i know...GROSS! I am trying to quit and I am down to 1 a day. Used to smoke about 8-10 a day.

breakfast: Kashi Go Lean Crunch with Dannon Light and Fit Vanilla yogurt, coffee with cocoa powder, splenda and a splash of almond milk
lunch: caprese salad - which was AMAZING - a nice big english muffin with margarine, vegetarian jello
dinner: tomato, basil and cheese omelet, english muffin, grapefruit, more jello (*snicker*)
snacks: orville redenbacher mini popcorn bag
It doesn't seem like I ate a lot - but that was one SERIOUS salad for lunch and an awfully big bowl of cereal for breakfast. Plus the omelet was super duper filling. :D
Breakfast: S'mores Luna Bar and a coffee with Vanilla Rice Dream
Snack: Small handful of mixed raw nuts
Lunch: Rice pasta with spicy tomato sauce, mushrooms, broccoli, onions, peppers and spinach
Snack: Organic Lemon Italian Ice cup
Dinner: (Lebanese Restaurant) Small spinach pie, Hummus, Salad and Green beans with tomatoes, onions, and garlic over rice pilaf
Snack: Triangle of baklava
Was a "cool" 74 degrees and rainy day today. I made pasta fagioli for dinner. Yum! Black bean soup for lunch. Skipped breakfast.
Looking forward to the chilly Autumn weather. I could live on soup and bread alone.
Breakfast: Oatmeal banana smoothie
Lunch: Lentil soup
Snack: Vegan goldfish crackers
Dinner: Tempeh patty, hamburger bun, blackbeans
Dessert: Homemade gingersnap cookies, vanilla Soy milk
Breakfast: maple oatmeal, an apple and coffee with soymilk
Lunch: leftovers...penne pasta with homemade pesto (I replace the cheese in the pesto with ground walnuts - yum....) canellini beans and homemade salsa on top.
Snack: will be carrots, fruit, sesame crackers with PB
Dinner: I am dreaming of coconut rice so I might make that even though my boyfriend won't be home to share it with me. We eat it with beansprouts, cuke avocado, hot sauce and chopped peanuts.
breakfast: two slices of sourdough kamut bread with extra virgin coocnut oil, kiwi, banana, hard boiled egg, cottage cheese
snack: raw swiss cheese, dried apricots
lunch: two slices sprouted bread with baked beans on top, drizzled with olive oil, carrots and another kiwi (eating it atm)
snack: probably larabar
dinner: braised chicken legs, squash, sourdough rye bread or tortillas. agian, dunno. maybe salad with it? im sure butter and or something fermented will be served with it, like saurkraut
b - Odwalla Bar - Berries G0 Mega and a hot coffee with soy milk
l - V8 and a wholegrain english muffin with natural PB
snackies - a couple of apples and some sunflower seeds.
kept the earlier part of the day light as I plan on cooking a big, crazy vegan Indian food feast for dinner tonight. Spicy potato and cauliflour, red lentil dhal and basmati rice from Vegan Dad's blog.
Breakfast: Weight Watchers Whole Wheat Bagel with Natural PB and Strawberry Preserves
Snack: Vanilla Carmel flavored coffee with a splash of Vanilla Rice Milk
Lunch: Veggie soup from Uno's with a couple of cheeseless breadsticks
Snack: Clif Builder Protein bar - Mint Chocolate Crunch
Dinner: Brown rice veggie sushi rolls from the grocery store
Then I took a mighty Zumba class to work it all off! :)
breakfast: 2 large egg whites with tbsp. of ketchup, a bowl of wheaties, half a cup of lactose free milk, some grapes and cantaloupe
lunch: small bagel with sundried tomato cream cheese, grapes
snack: small portion of leftover pasta seasoned with seseame oil, pinenuts, sundried tomatoes, parmesean cheese
dinner: brown basmati rice with peanut sauce, tofu squaress, bean sprouts, tomatoes
Breakfast: Cheerios with Rice Dream
Snack: 3 small vegan sugar cookies & a small coffee
Lunch: Whole wheat veggie wrap with hummus
Snack: 2 pickle spears
Dinner: Brown rice veggie sushi rolls from the grocery store
Then I took another Zumba class AND an hour-long kickboxing class :)

dinner: mashed potatoes with steamed broccoli. split pea soup with pepper and garlic. a piece of whole wheat bread with butter.
snack: carrot cake.

I'm stuck at work today, so here's what I brought with me
Breakfast - 1 apple, 1/2 oatmeal with 2 tbsp of milled flax seed
Snack - 6oz baby carrots and about half a cup of Greek Olive Hummus (mm)
Lunch - 2 baked Falafel patties (left overs) to make a sandwich with whole wheat bread, tahini, and sliced cucumbers (I forgot my lettuce /sadface).
I am not sure what I am doing for dinner tonight. I am thinking of roasted garlic and broccoli stir fry...
