Eat well but weight out of control

Quote  |  Reply

I am really starting to worrry, I quit smoking about 16 months ago and have packed on some serious weight.

I attibute much of this to my daily grind, it is very stressful and stay trapped in a cubical 8 hours of the day.

I walk in the morning, play ping pong in the afternoon with a co-worker and stay away from high fat foods. But because I am getting such little excercise other than that my weight continues to climb.

Joined Calorie count a while ago but thought I could go without it and guess what? More weight gain! I want to loose about 75 lbs in a years period and have come to the conclusion that I need to make a dramatic change in my lifestyle is necessary.  I need to go from a couch potato to being out and about like I used to and think it is going to take some effort.

Anyone else in the same boat?

YES!!!

It's so frustrating because I try to eat really well. I'm constantly playing with my one year old, currently helping my husband lay new flooring. We try to go for walks, but I have to admit we haven't in a while - and now the weather's getting disgusting!

I feel like I'm stuck. I need to ge re-motivated, but I don't know how!
