I'll be going for a swim tomorrow after lunch, so any suggestions on what I should have for lunch? Or just write down what you usually eat before you workout!

I usually just have something small like a banana or a Luna bar. Definitely makes the workout easier if you have something fueling your body!
Um, I cramp up if I eat before a swim. If you are swimming an hour after lunch, than I would say something with a good carb/protein mix would be good, maybe chicken and rice?
I have been a swimmer all my life and you defiantly need carbs, the amount depends on the workout, a banana, piece of whole wheat toast, oatmeal. I used to boil whole wheat penne pasta with nothing added and just eat that before a meat. You could get some whole wheat muffins and have a half or a Kashi bar those are awesome.
