hi there i dont ussually eat dinner after workout i workout 1 to 4 hrs a day after that i just drink a nice hot cup of nonf-fat milk

I think that its recommended that you get some fuel back into the body within abot 30 mins of a hard workout, but If the hot milk works for you go with that.
I've heard that as well. I would suggest you help recharge your body by eating at least something within an hour or two after working out.

If you are working out for 4 hours, then you really should be eating smoething.
Alot of people can't eat much after working out. That is why its recommended to have a protein style shake or after workout cocktail in 45 mins after you workout.
People aim for mainly protein, as this is key for the muscles and will be most beneficial after a workout compared to before. If you are looking for muscle mass, your post workout drink is key. Most have creatine and many other things in there to help with muscle recovery and protein absorbtion.
When doing weights, I spike my regular water with some protein powder. =)
But a whey protein drink, 200-300 calories of it, will be great. Your body will thank you.

within the first 30 min after excersise your muscles have a better ability to absorb the nutrients they need for repair, this ability starts to drop after 30 minutes but is still avctive for abou the next hour, after that they stop allowing the nutrients in, if you miss this window it take longer for the muscles to repair and thus the reason you feel sore.

Why don't you have a look at the nutritional information on the label of your tofu (or look it up on the food log) and then compare to a few slices of turkey with low cal bread.
If they are about the same, then the answer is yes. Either way, its better to eat something than nothing. So if you want to eat the tofu, eat the tofu
