total so far.500..that means.hm i dunno what to eat hahah.
Reason: moved to Foods forum
I had Burger King for breakfast, there goes five hundred calories.
A piece of fiesta chicken pizza after work, there goes three hundred calories.
A quarter cup of cake frosting thanks to the surprise, unwanted birthday party at work that we had no room to accommodate or staff to tend to them, there went 200 calories. And no, I don't regret it. IT WAS PINK!
And then a cup of spanish rice with a little burrito doo-dad from Las Compansomethingorother.
Followed by a few gulps fo milk.
And this, my fellow counters, is what I call starting off with the wrong fork. Tomorrow is another day..
b- 2 slices cracked whole grain wheat bread, 1/2 banana
l- half bowl of brown rice (w/beans)+seaweed+kimchi, banana
d- small bowl of homemade pumpkin porridge + 2 slices cracked whole grain wheat bread
THEN............... this is where i screwed up
3 dried persimmons (which i found out is 160 calories EACH!!!)
then (thinking i was "okay" calorie-wise), i splurged on 3 ferrero rochers which i've been dreaming about for the longest time
then, while preparing dinner for my dad, i had a slice of his whole grain bread, then a good handful of salted peanuts.
i just finished exercising for 25 minutes on the elliptical, but i feel like crapola. sigh..
you might not think this is bad, but i just feel so jipped about the persimmons. i don't know if you guys have seen them, but they're dried until they're little cute little white-powdery looking discs. i thought i was being healthy, but i hate it when i feel jipped like that. I don't feel guilty about the ferreros at ALL because i knew the calorie count before hand, and it's something that i wanted to reward myself for. and the stupid cashews and bread was just plain mindless eating. now THAT is what pisses me off. mindlessness and unplanned eating.
Breakfast: 3/4 cup better'eggs with 1/2 can of rotel, which is just tomatoes and cilantro, on a whole wheat tortilla (TASTY!!!)
Snack: Celery & Peanut Butter; Carrots & Hummus
Lunch: Half of a pbj (With Skippy Natural & Spreadable Fruit on 100% whole wheat bread); Wheat Pita Pocket Bread with hummus and turkey
Currently avoiding: The Hungry Howie Bread my co-worker just ordered from the pizza place next door...
Not sure what the plan is for dinner but it's going to be a long night of homework so hopefully I will stay on the same track... I'm new to eating healthy so feel free to comment with any tips and tricks for getting nutrients and staying full!!! I like to read these threads so that I can get an idea of what is actually "healthy"
