If you are  not feeling well, and don't feel like eating a heavy meal, try to eat small, light meals - soup, cereal, a small sandwich, etc.  Don't force yourself if you're not feeling well, but do try to keep yourself well fed, and, more importantly, well hydrated.  Maybe have some tea with crackers or hot cocoa, as well as a lot of water.  If you're hungry, then eat more.
what if im REALLY under my cal limit though..is that bad?
A day won't kill you.  Just try your best and tomorrow plan around it.  Drink some orange juice. Get some protein in you.  Just don't let it go on too long.  I'm sure you'll feel better and then get back on track.

ughh blah i would just love to sleep tonight and a little bit in the morning. but i have community service at 7 for school so i have to get up around 6ish.

try drinking a smoothie with protien powder. pack in lots of fruit and milk to up you calorie count, and hopefully the coldness will soothe your throat.

Your metabolism is raised when you are sick, because it working to fight off the infection. I suggest eating normally, and give yourself a day off from working out! If you do need to work out, do yoga or pilates, something less strenuous.

If your hunger is completely gone because you are sick, that's pretty normal. One day of low calorie intake isn't going to hurt you in the long run. However, if you are worried, drink some 100% juices or Gatorade for the electrolytes.

I'm sick right now and I'm trying to maintain my current weight so it's been hard.  I bought a jug of orange juice and I've been trying to drink that as much as I can, as well as little food stuff whenever I can as well.

I wouldn't worry about one day being way under, just try as best you can to get enough into you the rest of the days you feel crappy!

Most people tend to loose their appetite when they're sick.

They have that saying:  "feed a fever, starve a cold".  You're body will bounce back in no time, even if all you can really eat is soup and juice.

Also gargle salt water to help your throat (don't swallow obviously).  It'd a good well to help temporarily ease the pain.  I used to do it alot as a kid if it couldn't sleep because of the throat.
