ok for the past 3 days, i've been eating mostly healthy junk food. lol what an oxymoron. i don't know what's wrong with me! i just keep buying junk. it's not horrible junk, but a lot of muffins and quaker products. i've been staying between 1200 and 1500 cals, but most of them are from carbs. i've also been doing cardio and weight training. will eating mostly carbs prevent weight loss or make me lose muscle? usually, i eat a lot of protein, but i've only had aroudn 30 g today.

Be warned. Junk food isn't healthy. Processed carbs raise your blood sugar quickly and you drop just as quickly, leaving your hungry for more, and quickly.
Go eat some protein and some good fats. :) Like a handful of nuts or some such. :)

i was wondering if eating too much junk food would prevent weight loss or make me lose muscle, cuz it doesn't have much protein.
i'd really like to eat some protein, but i've had way too much to eat today. tomorrow's a fresh start, so i'm gonna eat a lot tmrw.

It all depends what type of carbs you are consuming.

Well, eating too much junk food and bad carbs certain prevented MY weight loss. In fact, I gained. Alot. Quickly. Because bad carbs led me into past-dinner binges.
Can't say that'll happen to everyone, but.. I'd definately work on eating better regardless. After all, this isn't a diet, it's a lifestyle change.
So.. tommorow. Do better tommorow. :)

i ate mostly bad carbs... like 2 cranberry muffins today. i only chose them cuz they were low fat, but i couldn't even tell how many cals they were. i also ate a pack of creme filled cookies and a granola bar. lol, the only good carb i ate was oat bran and an oatmeal to go bar. i had all of this in one day. bad carbs make me binge too, which is what today was, but i'm gonna make sure i don't eat anymore food today.
OK. Then.. forgive yourself (it's hard. I know.), and just do your best tommorow. one day won't destroy your diet.
