I am confused as to how many calories I should ingest daily. Can anyone help? I have recently experienced slow/no weight loss and some people have suggested that maybe I need MORE calories. I am totally open to that (trust me- undereating has never been a problem for me!
) , just not sure how to calculate.
Here are my stats:
5'8
180 lbs
28 yrs old
would like to loose 20-25 to reach a healthy BMI
I am mostly sedentary during my workday but I try to do 1 hour of moderate cardio 4-5 days a week with weigh training 3-4 times. My workouts normally burn between 800-1050 calories dependent on the day and how hard I workout.
I aim for eating about 1200 calories a day. Is this enough or should I be eating more/less?

As several people said in your last forum post, you should be eating more. 1200 is the MINIMUM for a short, sedentary woman. Your amount of exercise would be a light-moderate activity level (probably moderate if your burn amount is correct), plus you're fairly tall.
Your estimated daily burn w/ moderate activity level is about 2500 calories. You should not eat less than 1500, and you could eat as much as 2000 and still lose a pound a week. I would recommend somewhere in between the two.
You're also doing a lot of cardio and training. You should be weight training no more than 3x per week, your muscles need that recovery. And think about HIIT if you're only doing steady-state cardio. I hit a plateau a couple of weeks ago and since incorporating HIIT the losses have started again.

HIIT is High Intensity Interval Training, essentially you sprint for 10-30 seconds to get your heart rate to the maximum, then jog/walk for 30-90 seconds to get your heart rate back down. There are tons of free plans you can find if you google it, and lots of advice over in the fitness forum if you have questions. If you search HIIT in the forums you'll also find tons of info.
