Its soo hard to eat healthy when you are eating out! I dont know what to do about this- I like cooking and eating at home but my husband has so many friends who want to eat out and greasy!
What do I do?
I love taco bell for eating out... I eat off of the Fresco menu. Low in calories and fat. Try it. Chicken Fiesta Buritto Fresco style, 330 calories.
Also, any place you eat you can ask for what you want. Like if you eat at In and Out Burger, order the protein style burger! It is a hamburger served wrapped in a big lettuce leaf and is so yummy, only 240 calories.
So here is what you do, go to Google search and type in calories in (name of restraunt) and then you can choose what to eat at the restaurant before you go, I do that all the time and then I dont eat too many calories when I am out!

latley when i eat out there seems to be a healthier side of the menue...or when i really want that burger from lets say miki d's i order the kids meal instead. otherwise just skip the fries and the soda.
I have the same problem with eating out, but most often if i say to my friends ' oh its so greasy/fatty' or something like that - im able to persuade a more healthier restaurant etc. !
I just find it difficult when in restaurants choosing the lowest calorie dish, so many are confusing and youd think they would be low in cal, but they are quite hight!
I wish they would put calorific values on things, they dont have it anywhere in england!! I dont know about the US!
