I noticed that ever since I began doing weighlifting about 2 weeks ago, im eating around twice at dinner and am still craving for a snack an hour later. I workout 5 days a week, an hour a day.
I know that you're supposed to eat more, but it seems like im eating a lot more then usual and im worried if this is going to make me gain bad weight and not the good weight I want. Should I avoid eating more then 3 meals a day?

PS: My calorie intake is about 1500-1800 per day.

I've been wondering the same thing. I work out 5-6 days per week, and some days it makes me so hungry that I eat 2000-2300 calories! Is this going to hinder my weight loss??
Really depends on the type of workout. Really heavy workouts (working on muscle mass) can absorb huge amounts of calories and protein... weight lifters when they are bulking up can eat 5k+ easy for their muscles to repair.

Weightlifting and cutting are kinda against eachother....for bodybuilding and strength training, you need to eat more calories then your body normally needs (so it can grow and new muscles can be created)... where as trying to cut weight and fat, you try and eat less calories.

Weightlifting can be used to tone, working on mass while at the same time losing fat (but its tricky to figure out just how much you need...mostly trial and error...and really depends on the type of results you are going after.)
bizatch, you don't give any details (male/female, height/build), so there's little to go on.

Weigh yourself daily and watch your trend line. Maybe get one of the scales that measures body fat percentage, too (though be forewarned that the reading can vary +/- 2% based upon how dehydrated you are when you step on, so tracking the trend there is valuable too, to average out the daily variations).

If you start gaining fat, you'll see your trend line tick upward, and you'll see your body fat percentage tick upward. Then you know to cut back a little.

That's really the only way to know for sure, and it's far, far, healthier than guessing wrong and starving yourself.
