is eating too much red seedless grapes bad for long term weight loss

recently i have developed the habit of munching red seedless grapes, well before anyone says there is nothing wrong in it, let me tell u, daily i m eating around 2 lb grapes, i just have a feeling that i cannot stop my cravings for red grapes, i tried black and green grapes but i did not found them to my liking, from past 10 days daily i m going to my super market near by and buying them.... i really don't know how i can save the situation, any help?????

p.s:now a days i m on maintainance i m not exactly watching my diet but i have gained around 2 lbs in last fortnight.

Eating too much of anything is bad for long term weight loss! Although grapes are healthy in moderation, it probably isn't a good idea to eat about 2 lbs of them daily, as grapes (like most fruit) are high in sugar. Perhaps try to avoid the temptation of buying grapes to prevent yourself from eating so many?

You should try frozen grapes- they take longer to eat so you might not have as many in one sitting.

Id assume you will burn yourself out on grapes long before u start noticing any changes. Especially if u are eating that much daily!

Maybe try splitting the grapes into serving size baggies that way you dont mindlessly munch.

I love black grapes and have some in my freezer right now.  Like you said, they take longer to eat, and I feel like I've really eaten something without eating a ton of them.  I realize it's Fall now, but in hot weather they're really refreshing, too!
