Ok so I'm reaching my goal and I'm kinda scared I won't be able to stop gaining. So this is what I ate today....
Breakfast- Banana, Odwalla super protein bar, Boost High Protein
Lunch- HUGE fruit salad with some cottage cheese on top and a few dried apricots
Snack- Kashi Crunchy Bar (150 Cal)
Dinner- A big thick piece of salmon and some cooked veggies and some sunflower seeds
Snack- a 100 Calorie pack of swedish fish
Do you think this was too much, not enough or ok? My portions were pretty big and I feel like I ate a lott.
btw im a 13 year old girl, 5'1 and about 80 lbs
you're going to need a lot more calories than that to gain to a healthy weight. try adding some fats and calorie-dense foods like peanut butter, nuts, oils, avocado, etc. to your diet. they will help get your numbers up without adding bulk or making you feel overly full.
the answer to your question is no.
you arent eating enough. tho i think you know this. you know you should be eating about 2500-3000 cals to gain. And i think you know you are not consuming that amount.
you can lie and pretend to everyone around you - but in the end it is only yourself and your body you have to answer to
dont look for us to justify the fact that you are undereating. you are not putting in an effort and this is demonstrated by the fact that 2-3 weeks ago you were eating more calorifically and your weight has not changed at all.
there is no B.S on this forum. if you want to actually recover then start putting an effort in. you will find that most people here are
More fat, more protein, more whole grains and complex carbs, more calories.

You have a BMI of 15.1. That should be nowhere near your goal. You should be aiming for a BMI of at least 20; in your case, that would be around 106 lbs.
You have the same stats as I did when I began recovery. Honestly, you are not near "reaching your goal" at your current weight and calorie intake. My doctor told me I should be AT LEAST 90-95 pounds, if not more like 100-105 since I am very small framed and both my mother and grandmother are very petite. You may need to go higher depending on your individual body shape and needs.
Almost half your daily intake or more is coming from processed or pre-packaged foods. Try to stop relying on them for nutrition and eat real whole foods instead. There are plenty of high-calorie REAL foods out there that you are not taking advantage of: nuts and nut butters, Greek yogurt, whole grains (oats, quinoa, barley), flaxseed, fatty fish, etc.
You need to plan out your meals to include more protein, complex carbs, and fats. Bottom line - you need more of everything and you need it now. At thirteen your body still has a lot of developing to do and you desperately NEED calories in order for proper growth to take place. Please don't put your health (and possibly your reproductive system) in danger over this.
i just figured out how to update my stats and i did gain alot. im 87 now
