Eating out and stress
So tonight I'm supposed to go and spend time with my sister and my niece, and we're supposed to eat out tonight. Well, usually they want to go to Fuzio's, a kind of pasta place, but for the life of me, I can't find anything with calorie information on their food ANYWHERE!
I'm actually having panic attacks about going out tonight because they will want to go and eat, and they'll give me static if I don't order something. I'm lowering my caloric intake even more today out of fear that their meals are going to be, like, 1,000 calories or something, and I DEFINATELY don't want to go over calories (Escpecially with the confusion over the burn meter, I don't know what to log and whether I should have it on sedentary or light active). My stomach is tying itself up in knots over this and I feel ready to vomit out of anxiety.
I'm wondering if there's a good excuse to getting out of this sort of engagement? It's not until a good five or six hours away from now, but I don't want to go if it means we have to eat out.
If you order one thing to share with your sister saying you're not that hungry, you will keep your calories down.
I know how you feel sometimes...this weekend my boyfriend and I went out with friends twice...argh! Of course, eating is usually a central part of our time out. Anyway, google something like "low calorie italian restaurant". I found some tips like; avoid sauces unless they're tomato-y. grilled veggies with plain pasta, or maybe a side of marinara sauce, minestrone soup are good choices..also, maybe you could just eat half of the entree and save the rest or pass it on to your sis. Maybe do a walk and talk when you are done with dinner.
Good luck!
