Who here eats breakfast?

I'm simply curious. Because of my late mornings and school starting 30mins after I wake up, I don't have time for anything to eat.

Who does eat breakfast & who doesn't?
And why (if you don't eat breakfast, I'm not here to judge)?

I do.  I love breakfast.  I hate getting up for school in the mornings, but the thought of eating some cereal makes me actually want to get out of bed.  I <3 brekkie.
I do.  Because if I don't, I eat way more food throughout the day.  Eating breakfast in the morning keeps my energy up and my calorie intake down as the day goes on.  It's usually a bowl of Whole Grain Total with 1/2 cup of 2% milk.  But, then, I eat five or six times a day.  Three hours after the cereal, I have 'second breakfast,' which is usually a Boca breakfast wrap.

I always eat breakfast. Now it's usually because I'm starving if I don't have it. But before, when I wasn't eating and had to force myself, it was because I'd heard that it starts your metabolism and makes it easier to lose weight. And I've found that to be true.

I usually have fat-free yogurt and a banana (about 200 cals) or kashi go-lean crunch with skim milk (about 300 cals) or oatmeal (about 200 - 300 cals depending). Kashi and oatmeal each fill me up great. Yogurt is a nice lite breakfast but I find I'm much more hungry quicker -- no fiber. Usually I eat when I get to work b/c I'm always running late and don't take the time for breakfast in the morning.

I eat breakfast because in the morning I'm hungry.

Even if I have to eat it in the form of a granola bar during my walk to class.

I find I can concentrate better with food in my stomach.

I eat breakfast! Usually I'm at least somewhat hungry, but I force myself to eat anyway even if I'm not. I usually pour out some cereal or something the night before and eat it when driving somewhere/on my way to class.

You can always find time to eat breakfast, even if it means shoving down something when you can. : P
Yep, every single morning for basically the same reasons amy_blue stated. If I don't have something for breakfast, I'm famished and absolutely faint until I DO eat, and then I end up eating too much, or something that just LOOKS good like a pop-tart someone offers me or something. haha

I eat a 300 calorie breakfast every morning.

i've started to eat a bowl of porridge every morning before i leave for work, weekends i'm not awake in time to eat breakfast.

my breakfast usually adds up to half of my daily caloric intake, i love big breakfasts. plus, i usually eat breakfast at about 4-5 am (insomniac, don't ask) and it keeps me full until lunchtime usually (lunch is at 11:30 am).

like they say: eat like a king at breakfast, a princess at lunch, and a poor man at dinner.

I always do too... and love it. It starts my day. I feel weird not eating it. I wake up hungry too! And I can never deny hunger :\
Oh yeah!  Breakfast is my BIGGEST meal of the day... I feel like I can't function without the natural food energy boost as I'm likely to burn it all off during the day to start off empty again the next day!  (I don't eat at night anymore).

In the WORST of circumstances, I bring some fruit with me... Apples are super easy to eat on the go & they're crazy good for you!  (has natural sugars to kick-start a good carb burn)...

I look forward to eating breakfast the next morning almost every night, and it motivates me to wake up on time. It's definitely one of my favorite meals (who am I kidding, every meal's my "favorite.") I usually have oatmeal or some kind of hot cereal with fruit and egg whites or skim milk, and sometimes coffee. Sometimes I eat Kashi Golean, but not as much lately because it's been getting colder. Now I can't wait to have breakfast tomorrow. :)

 Before I lost weight and got health-conscious I would never eat breakfast, or even lunch, for that matter. I thought I would keep myself at my "skinny" weight by just eating dinner and snacks after school and skipping two meals. Now I eat breakfast because it wakes me up and keeps me from getting so hungry that I don't lose control and eat something I shouldn't.

I don't have time to eat breakfast before school, so I eat my breakfast during first period: AP Spanish. I toast two slices of whole wheat bread and spread 2 tbsp of peanut butter between. When I get to class, I pop the "sanwich" in the microwave until the peanut butter is all melty.

Hey, whatever gets me excited to go to Spanish.

i have early school too but i set my alarm to make time for breakfast. i would rather skip lunch than breakfast. it has nothing to do with the metabolism i just like the taste of breakfast and it has been my routine as long as i can remember.

also i get very painfully hungry if i don't eat breakfast.

 

I definitely eat breakfast. If anything I might skip dinner. But no matter how busy I am or how pressed for time, I try to eat something, be it some fruit, whole yoghurt, granola cereal, or a roll with some cheese. Some time in my life I got that little quip "Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, supper like a pauper" stuck in my head and so that's definitely what I try to follow through with.
I start with instant oatmeal (30 seconds in microwave) while I'm getting dressed, then usually an apple or banana after the gym, then coffee when I get to work. Then I snack on more fruit or nuts until lunch time. Plus water throughout.
My husband says Im a B!tch if I dont eat breakfast withen 1/2hr of waking up!!!

Try to get something into you before you leave for school.  Even if its a glass of milk and an apple or banana on the way this way it breaks the fast of sleeping and starts the system up!!!
I like big breakfasts so I don't have to eat at school... It costs seriously over $8 Canadian for a good lunch [muffin/bagel, fruit, and drink]... Insanity *rolls eyes*
I do eat breakfast and most days I eat the same thing:  baked oatmeal.  It reminds me of cake and keeps me full until lunch.
