Who here eats breakfast?
Who does eat breakfast & who doesn't?
And why (if you don't eat breakfast, I'm not here to judge)?
I always eat breakfast. Now it's usually because I'm starving if I don't have it. But before, when I wasn't eating and had to force myself, it was because I'd heard that it starts your metabolism and makes it easier to lose weight. And I've found that to be true.
I usually have fat-free yogurt and a banana (about 200 cals) or kashi go-lean crunch with skim milk (about 300 cals) or oatmeal (about 200 - 300 cals depending). Kashi and oatmeal each fill me up great. Yogurt is a nice lite breakfast but I find I'm much more hungry quicker -- no fiber. Usually I eat when I get to work b/c I'm always running late and don't take the time for breakfast in the morning.
I eat breakfast because in the morning I'm hungry.
Even if I have to eat it in the form of a granola bar during my walk to class.
I find I can concentrate better with food in my stomach.
You can always find time to eat breakfast, even if it means shoving down something when you can. : P
I eat a 300 calorie breakfast every morning.

my breakfast usually adds up to half of my daily caloric intake, i love big breakfasts. plus, i usually eat breakfast at about 4-5 am (insomniac, don't ask) and it keeps me full until lunchtime usually (lunch is at 11:30 am).
like they say: eat like a king at breakfast, a princess at lunch, and a poor man at dinner.
In the WORST of circumstances, I bring some fruit with me... Apples are super easy to eat on the go & they're crazy good for you! (has natural sugars to kick-start a good carb burn)...
I look forward to eating breakfast the next morning almost every night, and it motivates me to wake up on time. It's definitely one of my favorite meals (who am I kidding, every meal's my "favorite.") I usually have oatmeal or some kind of hot cereal with fruit and egg whites or skim milk, and sometimes coffee. Sometimes I eat Kashi Golean, but not as much lately because it's been getting colder. Now I can't wait to have breakfast tomorrow. :)
Before I lost weight and got health-conscious I would never eat breakfast, or even lunch, for that matter. I thought I would keep myself at my "skinny" weight by just eating dinner and snacks after school and skipping two meals. Now I eat breakfast because it wakes me up and keeps me from getting so hungry that I don't lose control and eat something I shouldn't.

i have early school too but i set my alarm to make time for breakfast. i would rather skip lunch than breakfast. it has nothing to do with the metabolism i just like the taste of breakfast and it has been my routine as long as i can remember.
also i get very painfully hungry if i don't eat breakfast.
Try to get something into you before you leave for school. Even if its a glass of milk and an apple or banana on the way this way it breaks the fast of sleeping and starts the system up!!!
