He Eats No Vegetables
Yes, it's true, my long time Bf, eats only meat. Well he has the odd Corn and potatoes. He plays so many sports and would look good and be so much more healthy. How do i get him out of the habit??
That's so good to hear! Definitely disguising is the way to go.
Have you read the cookbook by Jerry Seinfeld's wife about recipes and how to "trick" kids into eating healthier food? I cannot think of the name of it but you should definitely check it out! The recipes aren't so great but the ideas are cool.
I come from a family of no-veggie eaters. My dad won't eat anything green and the only "vegetables" he eats are potatoes, tomatoes and mushrooms! Two of my 4 brothers eat no veggies either. It's tough, my poor Mom when we were growing up!!
I am a vegitarian and i like to make veggie patties.
I get a can of 4 bean mix and blend it up, then chop/blend up whatever veggies i decide i want inthe patties. I bind it all together with herbs and spices, bread crumbs and an egg. They are good adn every guy that ive given them to loves them.
Another good one is making a fritata. It doesnt have to be without any meat but generally the bulk of it is veggies. What i do is layer the veggies i want in a flat baking dish. So i might start with partly cooked sliced potatoes, then capsicum, onion, etc add a layer of meat too if you want. For the top layer i put partly cooked brocolli florrets that are sliced in half, and tomato. You then cover the layer in a egg and milk mix so that it almost comes to the top of the layers. Put it in the oven until the egg mixture is cooked, it normally takes a good 45mins. Its yummy, it you can fill it with veggies and even add in his meat.
