I seem to do very well for about two days and then it seem like I am making up for the caroles I've missed. I get real angry with myself and have to struggle to get back on track. is any one else out there seem to have the same problem?

Pre Planning your meals and snacks help. At the beginning your body is still adjusting to lower calories. I remember feeling very hungry at the start.
Water, water and more water.
Water, water and more water.
I try my best to never allow myself to feel hungry. Make sure that you have something each day that fills you up - oatmeal at breakfast, turkey at lunch, couscous at dinner. If I rely too much on salads or fresh fruit, I don't feel full and that's a dangerous place for me to go.
We're all different though so try to find what satisfies you best.
Good luck.

You might be getting hungry like that because you are neglecting to eat enough during those 2 days.
How many calories are you eating?
While at first its normal to feel hungry when you are counting calories, if you always feel hungry, then there could be something wrong with your diet.

Thanks everyone for your reply. I frist started with 1200 cal and I was hungry so I changed it to 1800 same problem to maintain my weigh as it is it says I eat about 24oo cal a day so I changed it to 2000 cal still after 2 to 3 days I would start binging again. I think I am just using diet as an excuse. could that be possible. Am I just making this hard on myself????
you just have to eat different things. 2 foods may have the same number of calories but how hungry you still are afterwards varies greatly. I find that chicken helps a lot, or potatoes. For lunch I ahve a salad (about 2.5 cups) w/ about 3 oz of chicken in it and that works for me. but the longer you stick to it and let your body becoem accustomed to it, the easier it will be.
So you are jumping all around with the calorie intake. What did the site tell you you should eat? 2400 a day?
If so, then aim for a range of 1700-1900 per day, each day. This is after all activities are factored in.
Stick with this for a while. Just because you are hungry one day, don't start changing up the calorie amount. See how things go. Be patient, give it time.
It takes a while for your stomach to shrink up and get used to a smaller amount of food. It takes a while for you to get used to eating less.

It'll be hard in the beginning because you are used to consuming so much. Give it a couple weeks and your body will adjust. Your stomach will probably shrink some as it gets used to not consuming so much, and then it will be easier to not overeat.
Make sure to get lots of fiber. Eat whole grains and hearty veggies. I often choose veggies like broccoli and green beans with my lunch instead of salad just because they fill me up more. Getting enough protein will also help make you feel fuller.
I'm don't know what your eating habits were, but it might be a matter of learning when you are actually hungry and when you aren't. I know that I am a notorius bored-snacker. Now everytime I reach for a snack I ask myself, "Am I hungry or am I bored?" Then I find something to do and drink a glass of water. After 10 minutes if I still feel hungry, then I will eat something.
Water is your friend! Drink plenty of it. It will help curb your appetite and keep you hydrated. At times you feel hungry, you might actually be thirsty, so drinking plenty of water will help you to be able to tell the difference between the two.

I descided I have been just making excuses. and this morning I am going to start on 1400 cal a day and stick to this if I am hungry. let me eat salad until my stomach get set with the program. what do you all think of making a menu for the whole week? My husband wants me to do this but I find it so fustrating when we change. it. I feel it's a waste fo time. but this is a constant battle in my home.

I second this.. For the first 2 weeks It was really hard but after I pulled though them Im now eating much less and my body is used to it now.
My days are like this:
8am- Breakfast around 400 calories
10-30- snack
12-30 lunch
3- snack
5 or 6 dinner
I dont normaly feel the need to snack before bed when I plan my days like this.. maybe giving yourself some healthy snacks inbetween meals with help with the hunger. Somedays if I just sit down and eat and apple I feel so much better and it kicks the sweet tooth! Good luck! You can do it!
