Currently: 161 lbs

2 pound loss. Even after a week of not-so-healthy eating, but still watching the cals.

Anyone want to throw out some advice for those of us getting closer to the "last ten pounds?" I think I should work out more (?) Maybe add in an evening aerobics class starting mid-month (?).

My workout routine consists of 2-3 days of weight training each week, followed by 15 minutes running and 15 of walking. 2 days of running 4 miles with a warm up of 4 miles on the staitionary bike. The other days I do a walk/run which works out to approx. 30 minutes running and 30 minutes walking=4 miles as well. I TRY to take a rest day in there. All of my workouts are in the morning, so in a couple of weeks I was thinking of adding an evening class. What do you guyz think?

Goal weight 143.7 lbs this June!

Goal weight 195 by June.

Last year I lost around 100lbs in a 6 months time frame. The problem is I found around 60lbs since.

So here we go again.

My plan to start is to work out at least 30 minutes a night at 70% my max heart rate on a elliptical cross trainer. My calories should be 2000 per day to start. I should see big numbers in the first couple of weeks then it will become harder and harder to see results. I'm really not sure what my exact goal weight is since I haven't been near that weight in 20 years.

My goal is to take my kids to the beach this summer and not be embarrassed with my weight.

Hey Everyone! Sorry that I havent been checking in, but I have been busy with the holidays, visiting my fiance for a week and starting a work term. Needless to say, I have been neglecting all things having to do with calorie count and I have put some weight back on (hopefully some of which is water weight).

Also, I have now closed the group because we are starting to get alot of people and too many people will just confuse and overwhelm me!

 Dont be disappointed in the loss.Any Loss is good and can start each day fresh for your calorie counting. Keep going. We know you can do it....

Hi Everyone and Happy Friday!

I'm still losing slowly but "I'm Still Losing" which has suprised me.  This week has been a little challenging.  Stress from work and life has made me anxious and down.   Which both trigger my desire to snack in an effort to comfort myself.  I still am logging in my food and activity daily and that seems to help keep me accountable to myself.  Plus the Friday weight-ins are in the back of my mind during the week to remind me of how I would like to share another victory toward my goal.

I believe this is pretty normal, it could be water weight and it could be muscle gain.  I some times gain weight after I workout and believe that my muscles are retaining water.  But if I weight the next day it will have gone down a pound or two.  The one positive about muscle gain is that you will burn more calories, be stronger and start to become more solid like a rock!

One day late. But happy to report.

I'm not changing anything I'm doing. In fact tonight is cheat night, so I'm going for some Japaneese Cuisine. Something is working for me and my body is loving it. I feel better now than I have in all my adult life! No bull.

Everyone was so successful this week. One pound or 5. Who cares?? It's still awesome to see the numbers go down right? I started this journey almost a year ago and I'm not done yet!

Well i ended up gaining 3 pounds back.  OOPS!!!  I have had a sick young one (Robby-9 months) is sick with double ear infections, upper resp. infection, and scarlet fever.  So I have not found the time this week to work out but he is getting better so time to get back to it.  Wish me luck.  :)

Sorry to hear about the young one, hsmth2. Glad to hear he's on the mend.

I'm willing to bet that next week you will be reporting a 3 pound, if not more, loss. I do wish you luck, but you don't need it if you hit your regular routine again.
