Another disappointing number this week. I was doing fine but had a bad night dieting last night. I was lower yesterday. If I could ever put one whole week together I would see big loss.

Weight loss...4.4 lbs

19 lbs to go!

One pound weight loss, "I'll take it"  hope to loose another next week.

Thank you so much for the kind thoughts last week for my sick one.  He is doing better so I am going to get back on track and try to lose more weight.

Bought a new scale. I hate it. I'm sure I lost this week, but it shows me like 2 pounds heavier. Oh well, I am gonna post my so called gain, and then I'll report again on Friday. We shall see.... it's a new scale so I'm going to assume it's right. But regardless if my old one, the weight loss is still correct.

We know you didn't gain two pounds.  I think we can all relate to getting on another scale and having the numbers a few pounds heavier.  Just like going to the Doctors and getting weighted with your clothes on.  It can be a little frustrating, especially when you have been working so hard.

Yesterday I competed in an all women's Olympic Weight Lifting Meet in Los Altos California "The Bad Girl Open".   We compete in weight classes, I have been in the 75 Kilogram weight class for 3 years now and have wanted to go down to the 69 Kilo class, which I would have to weight 151.0 pounds at the most.  When you arrive at the meet you have to weight in.  It's some what embarrassing because we weight in, in our underwear.  Usually just with the official who is writing it on our score card.  My weight came up as 72.6 Kilos which is 159.72 lbs (I didn't know till I did the conversion on my calculator at home later that night.)  I thought WOW that's great.  Then I weighted my self this morning on my scale at home and it said 161.2  Darn it! Frown

Even though I do use the scale as a way to see my progress.  I try not to put to much energy into what the scale says.  My weight goes up and down day to day mostly due to water weight.

Even though the scale says I weighed two pounds more this morning I'm still proud of my self.  Because yesterday I conquered my fears and made two personal records of one Kilo increase in the Snatch for 33 kilograms and two Kilo increase in the Clean and Jerk for 47 kilograms.  It's not that much but I did it!

My biggest goal is to try more to focus on loving my self and visualizing myself as healthy, Happy, and Fit.  Seeing my self as lovable, beautiful and sexy.  We all know you are!!!  Just Believe it and Be it! Smile

 

Wow, positivechange! All I can say is congratulations AND thank you for the "pep" talk. I needed that.

. . .I will ONLY use the new scale now, and NEVER switch until this one goes down in flames! LOL

Hi guys! This is my first day on CC and I am really excited to find a great resource to easily count calories!! I am trying to tone up and shed some pounds before my wedding in June. I started two and a half weeks ago on January 5th.

Starting Weight: 155

Current Weight: 152 (1-22-09)

Goal Weight: 135 (6-1-09)

I am looking forward to tracking my progress. Knowing that I'm gonna look good on my honeymoon is quite the motivation!!! LOL

I am starting to get so aggravated.  I am doing the same thing but I will lose 2-4 pounds then gain it right back.  GRRRR!  Any suggestions out there would be helpful.  My calorie intake is 1200.  I eat 6 very small meals a day, drink water, exercise, chase of an infant all day long then 2 older kids when they get home from school, clean house, and run errands all day long. 

Well it was a okay week. Been really crazy around here. But here are my stats.

SW: 182

CW: 179

GW: 150 ish

1 pound down this week!!!

Well I Guess I'm at a new set point.  Instead of 161.00 it's now 159.00.  Which is good, but I really wanted to try for a pound a week.  I guess I will have to be more dilegent with my calorie intake.  Some days I go over 1700 calories.  I still work out with my trainer 3 days a week for 1.5 hrs.  I've also been trying to go to my other gym on my off days and do my own thing for about an hour. 

I know I just have to stay focused and keep on keeping on.

SW: 163.4

CW: 159.2

GW: 140.0

hsmth2: you are not eating enough I'm afraid. 1200 calories is the bare minimum your body needs to survive! If you are adding working out in there, your body is probably hanging on to every cal you eat just to maintain itself. Make sure your burning more than you eat, but no more than 1000 calories/day.

Me, on the other hand. I've just been eating stupid. I am back on track... today. And I'm thankful I haven't gained.
