Never feel guilt for eating. So you had some pie. So what! You don't do that every day, right? :] Carry on as normal. And whatever you do, DON'T compensate for it! No cutting more calories tomorrow or skipping dinner, no excessive exercise to burn what you might've eaten.

Do remember, though: there's no requirement for you to say yes when offered sweets at work. No reason to say no every single time, either, but don't feel pressured to eat because it's being offered to you.

Either way what's done is done, and I bet it was yummy, right? P: So don't sweat. You're lucky enough to HAVE pumpkin pie over there; in the UK, pumpkins are rare indeed! Even in season! And I love them. ]: Alas.

your right, if i think too much about it then ill either workout too hard and eat less calories tomorrow or just say screw it and never watch what i eat again... and it was delicious!! lol  thank you!

Enjoy the pumpkin pie. I know it's easy to tell to someone then actually do it yourself. he he. Actually I can resist pretty much all pies, except pumpkin pie. Last year I was going through one Costco Pumpkin pie a week. It was my breakfast. :) This year I am stocking up on pumpkin puree, so I can make "healthier" pie plus it's a great replacement for oil in the brownies.

Pie is a weakness and though Im strong willed, wouldnt trust one in my house.  Pre-diet days,  pie in the house meant bad breakfast LOL!

Pumpkin? You poor thing - I wouldnt want to be put to that test. OoPs - Thanksgiving LOL.  Will have to prepare because I cant let the pie win. (Yes, I know there is room to allow calories but thats a binge trigger for me).

Bonnie, put down the knife and back away from the pie...LOL.  Just kidding, I know its hard, I just can't eat a little or I will eat the whole pie!  I saw the ingredients from a pumpkin pie, since I don't make pie.  It scared me, it had more things I like, that I would prefer not to add to my butt, since my butt is an accumulator.

You will be fine, just keep up the good work and if you have a piece, enjoy!

I've just made apple crisp from scratch. I'm so freaking happy. I feel like sharing it with everyone. Now if only I could figure out how to make a mean pumpkin pie... :)

I love this holiday. Just try to focus on the people you love and cherish ^_^ you wont' be off the beaten path for long.

yeah the holidays are tough, but enjoy your pie! (but don't go overboard, lol). it'll be over soon enough (which is depressing to me).

but I've had an epiphany! or make that two, actually. my mom bought an apple pie that was on sale at the store, and I cut myself a small piece, and I was actually satisfied just by that one slice. no going back for more or anything. so I'm making sure I keep that in mind on Thanksgiving and Christmas before I go and cut myself a jumbo slice. and also, I realized that I don't like apple pie as much as I thought I did or used to.

personally, I'm not a pumpkin pie person. but other pies & holiday desserts, you should probably keep away from me (;
