400+emails from CC of responses

why do i have 100s of emails from CC of responses to threads, the same ones repeated 100s of times?

this never happened before??

The same thing happend to me today!  I had to make a whole separate folder in my e-mail for it just in case it happens again tomorrow.  I think I got an e-mail notification for every single post ever for some of the forums!

If you have Yahoo mail then you can make a folder and have a filter set up that everytime cc (or anyone that you want really) e-mails you that it goes in that folder.  I caught it early on and deleted the posts separate from my normal e-mail.  It was really annoying but at least my e-mail isn't clogged with old forum responses...

Sorry for this inconvenience - we did experienced an issue with our email system from Midnight through approximately 11am (Eastern) which resulted in repeated notifications.

 set up a CC folder in your inbox and a rule on incoming messages from CC so they all go to that folder.

alrt, thank u everyone.  it was really annoying+i really hope it doesnt happen again.

i will look into the CC only folder, i have aol btw if that makes a diff.
