Emotional... and eating... help me!

Over the last week things have been really hectic and stressful, especially during the last few days.. Yesterday I had a peice of cake, and today I ate two donuts.  I normally do not eat like this at all.. Usually my snacks are fruits or veggies or whole wheat crackers or something like that.. but a peice of cake and two donuts Cry... on top of that in the beginning of the weak i didnt eat that well either.. and I thought i would just fall back into my regular routine after a bad weekend.. however, its already thursday and i'm not doing so well.. Since Jan i've lost 15 pounds.. i'm so close to my goal.. but if i keep this up, i'll be so far.. i'm just really upset.. after those donuts.. Frown

I'm just starting out in earnest on my weight-loss, appearance improvement, energy increasing program - but I understand enough that this sort of thing happens.  Don't sweat it - you've done a great job - get back on your horse and ride to the finish

Thanks buschdr2008

You know.. when I have a bad eating day....  because of whatever... poor choices...  bad week.... whatever it is....  I just chalk it up to a bad day...  I know tomorrow is another day... I can start over and put things back on track.  I think this is something you really have to put in your mind.  I eat oatmeal and coffee every morning for breakfast....   so my day always starts out the same....   with that in mind..  after a bad day... I tell myself...  it's another day... a good day, and I can keep myself on track.  I'm usually very successful with this thought in mind.  I make sure I keep track of my veggies and fruit... always at least 1 salad per day.   Lots of water.  I'm trying to knock of 15 -20 more lbs right now...  it's going slow...  Not overly motivated by exercise... but I'm working on that too.  I think we have to do a lot of coaching of ourselfs to keep us on track and knowing that we are not perfect is fine....  as I said... you can put yourself back on track tomorrow.
