Who saw the ending of House last night?

I had to leave at 8:45 to pick up B. The father had just signed over his whole net worth for karma's sake and then boy started to flat line.

What happened?

House figured out it wasn't the disease he said (right before the flatline - the disease that started with a D and was incurable?). He found the right diagnosis and the kid was fine.

Dad went totally bankrupt in a day. Kid was healthy.

Dad said to House "it worked."

That figures. What did House say to Dad?

House figured out that the boy was suffering from something that wasn't terminal and fixed him. And Chase found a filewith some old bloodwork from the despot that proved he was being treated for high cholesterol, and that the lack of meds would have caused the spike. And 13 got on a plain to Thailand. And House made a chunk of money short selling billionaire's stock.

He didn't say anything but you got the feeling he was thinking about instant Karma.

Yes, and it was implied that House got the paperwork for Chase b/c he figured out what was going on. So House saved his butt (and probably Foreman's butt too).

Did 13 actually leave? I thought it was left ambiguous after someone cancelled her flight and she talked to House and Wilson about it.

In the obligatory introspective montage they showed her on the plane.

So who cancelled her plane? My money's on House.

I loved the way he fixed that guy with the amputated hand. I'm sure when the guy woke up with duct tape all over him he thought he was in the hands of a serial killer.

I hope 13 isn't gone for good. I think she'll be back. She is breathtaking, I agree. I like her character too.

My boyfriend will be sad if 13 leaves.

House did respond, the first time the dad said it worked -- he said "The medicine worked." in his cranky way.

Actually, House did say something. When the dad said, "It worked" House said, "the medicine worked."

I thought House admitted canceling 13's plane in the end. Remember? I think it was Wilson talking to House, asking him why he'd done it. I thought it was pretty clear that House canceled the flight. Maybe I misheard or something.
