I'm trying really hard to get myself motivated and active, but I feel so tired all the time. I feel like I'm dragging all day and when I have spare time, the last thing I want to do is get even more tired. Any suggestions on how to overcome this?
drink lots of water! when you are dehydrated you are much more prone to fatigue. Also, when you feel like sitting down, just keep moving. I have forced myself through the, "i am so tired I am not going to exercise" mentatily so many times in the last year. After a year of walking almost every day, I find that I do have much more energy but I am very tired on days that I don't drink enough water....nothing replaces water...not tea...not soda....not milk. Your body needs water!!!!
i have to agree with Larienkoci.
You just have to tell yourself that this is for the better and just keep moving when you feel like you cant. Everyone has days like that, they just have to force themselves.
Some days, i feel like that too, but i make myself exercise. When im doing my aerobics, i dont have to try as hard. Just keep moving. If someone was to see me on those days, i look like im exercising in my sleep with my eyes closed and all.
And drinking your 8 cups of water a day helps alot!
