Will not enough calories force me to gain?

Quote  |  Reply

Okay, so this is weird and I dont usually have this issue, but I was so busy today that by the time I was done with dinner I had only consumed 800 calories for the day. This never happens, but my daily goal is 1550 so I ate a few more calories to bring myself up to 1089 cals for the day. I dont want to force myself to eat anymore because it to late. Is this going to be okay???

Trust me this NEVER happens to me usually I am trying to find things i can squeeze in without going over.

If it seriously only happens once in a blue moon then you won't suffer any ill effects. Same as if you went over your target very rarely. Don't worry about it.

I was actually looking at my last few days and there was a couple days I went over, so I guess that this just balances it out. Thanks :)

Good question. I think for the most part you dont have to worry as long as it doesnt happen all the time.

One day is okay but if it happens all the time then your body adjusts and tries to make the most of the calories that you consume. This makes your body gain more weight even when you're eating less
