I've been looking for it in my grocery store, but couldn't find it. Maybe they will have it soon.
They are being fined by the FTC for false advertising.
Is it false advertising if they make known that their claim is based off of their own studies?
i've tried the regular green tea and the peach flavor. they're pretty good but not worth $1.50 each. i don't believe that it can help you lose weight but it did get me hyped up from the caffeine
I think I read that the 'calorie burning effect' amounts to no more than 30-60 calories a day.
But what isn't known (and hasn't been studied) is if your body compensates for it in some other way, negating any weight loss effect.
If you're trying to reach a healthy weight, you'll need more up your sleeve than these new 'calorie burning' drinks and products. But as long as the ingredient list doesn't list too much caffeine or guarana, and as long as you control your calories, they probably won't hurt you.

Their "tests" were done on very few people over a very short period of time. This article explains why they are being fined.
FTC Tightening Rules
And this one explains about the "research"
Enviga Claims
In part it states "The study was based on 31 subjects, and lasted only 72 hours. The weakness of the data hasn't stopped Coke from a nationwide roll out and marketing campaign. "
That's not research

I had one two weeks ago and it was gross. I would never spend money on that stuff again. That is just me though :)
I had the Berry kind and I liked it a lot...What I didn't like was how jittery I felt for hours afterwards, it did give me energy to work out...but then I couldn't fall asleep at bedtime hours later.
If it ever comes here I will try a can, I wouldn't drink it regularly though..
It does have the amount of caffeine in 1 to 2 cups of coffee. It's supposed to help you burn an extra 100 calories a day, depending on your body. I bought one today and I'm going to try it tomorrow.........I hope it's not nasty. :-\
I tried all the flavors, the plain green tea was bad. The others were good. Basically its greentea which they say helps burn fat. Same effect with regular greentea. Did not give me the jitters or keep me awake, but I also drink caffine regularly.
I started drinking 2 cans per day, one in the morning and one just before working out in the evening. I like the Berry flavor best.
I don't think it burn calories by itself, but my workouts seem to be more effective when I drink a can first. I'm losing more than if I didn't have it. It's only 5 calories per can, that's less than a cup of coffee, so I don't see how it hurts anything.
Green tea is supposed to be a natural appetite suppressant too.

On the package it says you need to drink at least 3 a day to burn those 100 calories! NOT worth it! If you can handle a lot of caffine... maybe, but they made me feel gross.
I stay away from anything *SPARKLING* by a rule of thumb.
i love it.
i will have to check those links though. thanks for posting them, clairelaine.

I think they're pretty good. I love the peach flavor. The price just depends on where you go. I got one yesterday for the same price as the bottles of water and soda. Yay CVS!
Even if it doesn't burn calories, its cheaper than a cup of starbucks and is wwaaaaaaaaayyy better than Red Bull on multipule aspects.
And each can has 20% of the calcium needed for a day.

I think they should put a warning to not drink on a empty stomach! I drank a can and I started having cramps then later diarrhea. I guess there is too much green tea for me.
