I'm 5'9 and about 164 lbs, I guess my goal is 140...sometimes I wonder if I want to go to 130, even though I try not to think of numbers, 140 seems 'average' weight to me (no offence to anyone) and I'd like to be in better shape than that (better than I've ever been). I know about the muscle being more dense thing (I am naturally more muscular), it's just hard sometimes not to think about numbers
So I was hoping some people my height in that weight range would be willing to show a picture so I can visualize it better? According to the body frame test I'm small frame, I was really surprised at that because I have broad shoulders and I always felt 'bigger' than most girls (not weight wise), and I had the assumption that small frame = petite.

I'm a 5'9 and I have a large frame and quite a bit of muscle. I got down to 160 once and I was almost too slim then (my cheeks started to go a bit gaunt!) and I had to eat very little to maintain that. I'm 180 now with a goal of 170 for now. I've been 180 for about 2 years now but I have lost quite a few inches.

I'm a small frame based on my wrists, but i have thick legs and always have, so I sort of consider that I have a small frame on top and larger one on the bottom. If that's possible. I don't have any pictures, but my lowest weight was 130 (and that was a little too low) people said i looked unhealthy. I'd say that 135-150 is just right for people who are 5'9."
Yeah I wonder how accurate this wrist test is to determine frame, maybe it's just my long fingers lol. I'm looking back on pictures of me when I was a thin teenager and I *think* I was 140 then, I think I'll just have to go by that.

Vicereince... I apparently have a small frame. Like you, I always felt, and still do now, that I have a larger frame, or 'bigger bones' than most people my age.

I'm small-med framed but really muscular, I'm 16, and losing on 1400-1600 cals a day, which I've found works best for me
im 5'9 and i started working out in july;..i started at about 163...and at the end of august i was 153// i maintaind that weight for a while and within the past couple weeks ive started the gym/counting calories routine and im down to 149.... my goal is 140....

Also 5'9", 30 years old. I'm currently 145, when I started this I was 155, and I'm aiming for 130-135 sometime in the next couple of months. I don't have any body shots (I try to ensure that it's always me with the camera) except for the one in my gallery. I think the frame test is pretty silly, as I've always been a medium frame and according to that I'm a small. Those 5'9" people hanging around 120 make me feel pretty fat, though!
I'm about 5'10-ish and am also looking to get down to 130-ish lbs. I would love to be your buddy! I'm around 145 lbs right now.
I am almost 6 feet tall (5 11 and 3/4ths to be exact)
August of 2006 I weighed 144 on my wedding day...............then by October of 2006 I had gone up to 156 (in 2 months up 12 lbs was not water weight lol)..........realized wow I gotta get on this before I get out of control as years ago I was almost to 190, I did not want to head back in that direction. By October of this year I reached my goal, and actually went past it to 138.....was planning to just get back to my wedding weight but went a little further. So I very slowly lost the weight it took a year and have maintained 138 for 6 weeks. I plan to continue what I like to call my "LIFE IT" as opposed to diet. I eat well, and go to the gym.
What are the tall chicks meaesurements (5 9 and above)....I am asking because although I am not much lighter than my wedding day weight, I came across my wedding measurements, and just measured myself to compare................
oh yeah I am almost 36, no kids yet.

weight at 138 measurements now at only 6lbs lighter

I currently wear between a 4/6 tall pants (depending on the make/style, blah blah) and can usually get into a size 2 but they are usually too tight for what I feel comfortable in....
i have more muscle now and are much better toned according to the chart I am medium built as my fingers just touch......but if I really stretch them I can get almost my entire thumb nail over my index finger soooooooooooo perhaps I am small??? anyone have thoughts on that?
I am not sure how to post pics in a gallery or on a post, so if someone can explain I would appreciate it.
P.S Where do the Tall chicks get reasonbly priced long/tall workout pants????? I usually have to wear floods or the capri style, getting too cold to wear the shrt ones.
