5'2''ers what size are you?

Quote  |  Reply

I'm 5'2'' (123 or so) - and a size 4 in jeans (sorry don't know that in european or anything).  I wonder if I will ever be a size 2.  I'm not worried about that - but I just hate how even size 2's and 4's are always so LONG and it's hard to find short's or ankle sizes - and sometimes those are tighter in the waist than the regulars - it's just so annoying - i have to hem almost any dress pants i get.  sorry small rant.  but i am curious about you.

I am 116lbs 5"2. I wear, actually im not sure what size I wear..but it really depends because my waist is pretty thick and alot of fat is all around that area, so i would normally wear XS tops, and maybe size 2-4 in pants. oh yeah. 28 in Jeans.

5'2 (according to the doctor, i thought i was 5'3 :( ) and just weighed in at 125 pounds. i wear a size 4/5 now that ive lost a bit of weight. A 2/3 is a bit too small, but hoping to be soon! :)

Oh by the way I was 5'1 and 121 lbs.. I just took my measurements. They're 36/28/34. Which is I guess why I'm more of a size 2 than 4.. Cursed apple shape!

I'm 5'1.5" 112 and wear between 5-7... As you may have guessed, I'm an apple!
5'1.5 and around 115 i think... I wear size 3 or 4... old navy makes sizes bigger. I don't really like the way any of the clothes there fit me though, but it's nice they think about the short people...I went shopping for jeans last week and kept trying them on and getting very angry!!!

I want to loose like 10 pounds.... then I should be size 1/2.

Weighing in from light but chubby, apparently, I'm 5'1-ish and 122 lbs, and I wear a size 6 Gap, and it's tight if it's not low-waist. The idea of wearing an 8 is what's got me trying to lose a little. I'm short-waisted and thick-waisted- hips 36", waist 33"-ish, and ribcage 27". I was down to 107-9 after I gave birth 5 years ago (one of the weird ones who loses weight when pregnant, due to being sick all the time), and I was still a 4. So don't despair, we come in all sizes. I dream of an hourglass figure in any size, tho! And I love, love, love, Calvin Klein push-up bras.

Wow i am surprised about how many 5'2ers there are! lol. I am 5'2 right now i weigh 207lbs. and wear a 16.  When i was a 117lbs. i used to wear a 5 or 7, my waist was 28 inches. i wish i fit into a size 4! lol but never did, even when i weighed 103lbs. I wore a 5, and would try to squeeze into a 3 (they fit but tight! so no go lol), when i was 103 i had a 22 inch waist.  i think the sizes have gone up since then, cause i noticed a lot of people can fit into smaller sizes than i used to and they weigh more. i am 25 yrs old BTW. :)  trying to go back down to 115!! but at least 125, then i'd be happier! lol.

I am 5'3 but I have a petite frame. I wear a size 4 in pants and an XS in tops. I would like to lose some of this extra weight (I put it on in the middle, hips and thighs) and go back to a size 2 in pants.

Many years ago when I was 125 pounds, I wore a size 6. I think the sizes are changing for the bigger now though and I might be in a smaller size than that when I get back down to my goal weight.

It's the hardest thing in the world to say that I now wear a size 16 (at 181 pounds) which is very difficult to find in petite lengths-- although JCPenney's has some okay work clothes in that size. It seems that's the very top of the petite range just about anywhere though. Thank goodnesss I won't have to worry about that much longer.

For those of you who have lost a bunch of weight, at what pound increment were you able to fit in the next smaller size?

Thought I'd join in so there's more of us in that demographic. :)  I'm currently around 190, and I'm mostly wearing 16's (so I guess my weight is a little differently distributed).  Well, I say I'm wearing 16's, but I've got a pair of 14's that are fine, and some of the 16's I have I can remove without unbuttoning them.  My natural waist is around 36 inches at the moment with my hips more like 46

I've been as light as 108 pounds, and never wore smaller than a 5/6 except for a few special occasion sizing items, so I concur that sizes must have shifted somewhat since those days.  (108 = 1995)

An older post but I was searching through and found this.

I'm 5'2-5'3 ish and weigh 110-112.

I realized last week that I could fit into size 0 jeans. That was an exciting moment because I basically skipped straight from size 4 to size 0 because I was afraid of 0's... haha. 2's probably fit pretty well too, it just makes me feel better when I'm wearing 0's. I probably fit in 26-27. My friend who's 105 lbs and 5'1 wears 26 so I'm wondering how skinny you have to be to fit into 24's o_O scary.

Congratulations naruelle!! I am also 5'2''-5'3'' and 110-112!

The only size 0s I fit in are Express though (someone said earlier they run big - i think they do also).  I'm usually 1-2 in jeans, or a 25-26 depending on the cut. It's a pain getting them hemmed so I usually end up buying skinny jeans and tucking the ends under (so when I go out in the evening I can wear them longer!!)

I have a friend who is 5'1'' and fits a 24; she's Viet so she looks great but I'm sure she must be about 95lb. It's a pain for her to find sizes when we go shopping because clothes stores don't usually stock things small enough for her!

I'm a size 2/3, although I occasionally fit a size 1.

I'd rather not though.  I don't like having no hips!  I'm very top-heavy with measurements of 33.5 - 25.5 - 31.5.

Not to mention the muffin-top.  Yeah, I have slim hip-bones but then a lovely bunch of flab sitting right on top. xD

I'm 5'2", about 155 pounds, and wear about a 10. But I think it should probably be closer to a 12. I have a couple pairs of Levi's that are a size 8 that are almost too big.  And 10's that are far too small.  And some 10's that fit pretty well.  But I just bought those really recently and I know they've switched the sizes on those.

Since I wrote that post I've been hovering around 177 and up. (Wow that's cool I guess-- even though I've a long way to go yet). I still wear a size 16 but can fit into a couple of 14s. I think I'm "big boned". My 16s are indeed loose but most 14s are just a little too snug for comfort. I'm really curious now what size I'll be in when the weight comes off. I think I'll still have the hips and chest to contend with. I think I was 125 in high school and maybe even when I got married the first time. After the kids, I hovered around 135 to 145 where I stayed for many years till I hit that 40 years mark.

I am 5'3 and I weigh about 120 depending on the time of day. I'm 18 and in juniors I wear a 5 and in womens I'm about a 4 in pants and a 2 in dresses and what not. I want to get down to 110 because all my weight is concentrated in my hips and legs so its pretty noticible whenever I put on weight.

Oh and a little example of my body frame size...my measurements are 34-25-36

I'm 5'2, around 185 lbs, and wear between a 14 and 16... depends on the pants.  I have large, muscular thighs, (thanks Rowing and Horseback riding! /sarcasm) so I find a wear a larger size than I would if I had a normal body shape lol (ie: clothes hang off waist, fit in thighs).

GDB, I think we are twins!  I'm also 5'3, around 120, size 4 in jeans and 34/25/36.  If you want to be a size 2, go to Express.  It's true, they are larger, it's the only store where i wear a 2!!!!!

Have you looked in the petiets and misses section? Some brands, like Levi and walmart  brands have short sizes.

im confused ......im 5"2 and size 6 (uk) everyone else seems to be in much smaller sizes =s does anybody know the real measurements for theses sizes or do they al varyy..?
