Ok, I got dragged to lunch by my co-workers.  I'm usually ok at estimating, but I had something that threw me.

So, I had a chicken salad with pecans and peaches.  When it came out of the kitchen, the chicken was FRIED.  They should have said so on the menu.  The salad was 9"X9" square plate.

I ate one of the pieces (1 inch) as is.  Then, realizing it wasn't as tasty as I wanted it to be, I took off the breading (as much as you can.... I might have missed a little) off the rest.  I ate all the spinach, and 4 pecans.  Anyway, I currently have it logged as follows.

Pecans B- 7 48 Chicken, Breast, Meat Only - Cooked, Fried B 86 161 Chicken, Light Meat - Meat And Skin, Cooked, Fried, Batter C+ 28 78 Spinach - Raw A 60 14 Peaches A 85 33

Do you think this is a good estimation... too high, too low?

That estimation sounds just about right!

Did it have any dressing though?

I asked for it on the side, and didn't use any... so I'm in the clear.  Don't have to count what I don't eat!  :)

Edit:  You should have seen the funny look on the waiter's face when they picked up my plate.  Every scrap of produce was gone, and left in its place was a giant pile of discarded beading and pecans.  HAHA.  I'm weird!

we at CC do really weird things!! :) its disconcerting sometimes the way i have to obsessively weigh everything i eat..the other day i had this fabulous butter scotch frozen yoghurt(OMG!! Awesome!!) and i kept telling the guy a small cone...really small...with accompanying hand gestures...finally he told me he would give me a kid sized cone....only then did i shut up :-D
