............ BAM!! every 4 days i eat like a total pig =(. Like 4000 calories easy. Why????? Sometimes im not even hungry just reallly want the food.
I have not had my totm in a year and 4 months!! is it because my hormones are all over the place? because im pretty sure im eating the correct amount of calories???
I really don't have an answer for you, as we have no stats available (weight, food intake, etc). But my gut instinct is if you haven't had a period in 14 months, it's time to go see your doctor to get a full blood work done and find out what the problem might be. The reason you may be eating so many calories on the 4th day is that your body is screaming for them. In other words, you are probably not eating enough on the other days, and your body is demanding fuel and replenishment.
I hope you find your answer soon. Good luck!
oh dear =( i will put my stats up as soon as...... =D
well im 5,7" and 120lbs my intake is normally around 1400 a day.
I will try upping them a little to see what happens, anddd i will book an appointment with the doctor about my problem.
Thank you for your post ddugan =D appreciate it lots x
Undereating is what causes overeating.
Dieting presents itself as a famine to the body, and when you exercise while not eating enough, that's a double famine situation. So when the body has its next opportunity to eat food, it will devour it like a hungry tiger.
Many people feel that it is stress that causes them to blow their diet and binge. But the reason they binge is they are in need of food because they are following a too restrictive diet. The body wants to alleviate the stress of hunger first before it deals with any other stressors, so it will inspire you to eat whenever food is available.
Conversely, a person who does not restrict or diet will actually lose their appetite when in a stressful situation.
A world hunger relief organization cited the minimum nutritional requirement of an average adult to be 2100 calories to maintain weight and health. (this info taken from Jean Antonello's book "Breaking out of Food Jail")
I know this high caloric amount goes against all current dieting trends, but it is low calorie intake which causes increased appetite and/or urge to overeat or binge, often with some loss of control over eating behavior, as well as high interest in and cravings for sweets and fatty foods, according to Antonello.
omg!! thank you Risabella, that was really helpfull.
