I gained a considerable amount of weight after losing more then 50 lbs when I was going through my divorce. I am now heavier then I have ever been in my life. However, I quit smoking a little over a year ago and decided the rest of me needed to be healthy too. It is a difficult process though. Since joing Calorie Counters I have lost 12 lbs. with very little gain back. Obviously knowing what you take into your body does help. Hope to chat with some of you soon. I also belong to a great weight loss support group called TOPS but, can use all the help I can get. Good luck all and healthy eating ![]()

I live in Bethany, I recently became unemployed (2 months ago) and since have gained about 10lbs. When I first lost my job I was at the gym almost everyday for a couple of hours per but have since lost the motivation to get up and go. I am very stressed and seem to be eating poor foods late at night. I have always eaten very healthy but it seems recently the least expensive way to eat is not as nutritous as I am used to. That's why I am here. Trying to find motivation to not gain weight right before summer time. Nobody likes chubby dudes during the summer time!

Hi!
I'm from SW Portland and just joined calorie count myself just this last week. I have to say that I gained a good 10 to 15 pounds over 3 years or so. I really thought that counting calories would be so lame but it is really helping me watch what I eat and lose weight. Let's hope that I can be o.k. while I'm in Florida for 5 days! I'm going to try to keep a food journal or at least monitor what I'm eating and making healthy choices too.

Hi everybody,
I just joined last weekend. I live in Goose Hollow (downtown) but I am originally from Oregon City. I am trying to lose 40 lbs in the next year... just started calorie counting. Trying to get on a schedule with working out, I am not a morning person (I wish I was cause it's easier if you get it out of the way).
