so i decided to go through my first post on the weight gainers forum and reading now i see how twisted my head was when i first began posting. i visioned i was eating 2,500 but nuh uh i was doing way less than 2000. its just so wonderful to see how far i've come in such a short time, and many of you guys have too!

heres my first post - italics are things i decided to add now

B: 1/3 cup oats (cooked in 250ml soymilk, apple, vanilla essence, cinnamon), 200ml banana and mango nectar

B: now oatmeal (chocolate milk, oats, banana, peanutbutter, shredded coconut) or oatmeal (soy milk, apple, dried fruits, nuts)

S: 200g lite yoghurt (one of those dodgey 100cal diet ones), crunchy nut muesli bar (one of those stupid 3g fat ones with 100 cals), mandarin

L: Wholemeal roll, roast, salad, caramilized onion (cooked in no oil unlike i do now), cheese (from memory measley slices)

S: apple, banana, thick raisin toast with ricotta cheese (again measley slice) and jam (low calorie)

D: lots of spaghetti with tuna and tomato sauce (tuna in springwater now cook with canned in oil)

S: dads birthday so vanilla slice

okay it was lucky that my first time posting was my dads birthday so there was cake but still thats just 2,000. now for a more recent post

B: apple, cinnamon, oat and walnut pancakes with greek yoghurt (huge 800 cal breakfast)

S: Green monster smoothie (soy, mixed berries, banana, pineapple, spinach) topped with 2 tbsp sesame seeds

L: At Nandos Chicken:Portugese BBQ Burger (eating out)

S: wholemeal muffin with homemade red pepper hummus (making food) and cucumber

D: Tandoori Chicken, brown tumeric rice with peas, tomato, natural yoghurt and corriander pesto on the side (oh yeah extra oil)

S: Peanutbutter Fairy Bread on wholemeal toast (haha wont go a day without my pb now)

its so great to see that i can do this now and it all isn't a fear that much. im cooking for myself and my family, using oil, have no fear of eating fat, can eat out and public and make a decision and have stopped counting calories. life is so much better now and it will be much better once i can stop gaining weight and move on.

if anyone can be bothered i suggest finding your first post and then posting it with a more recent one. this way everyone can see how far you've come and it will prove to yourself that you are slowly edging closer to recoverey

Good job for making progress and seeing it. I have looked back at my old posts and the responses my mental frame and I see how far I have come. It helps when I have the hard days and feel trapped to see that I have made progress. I also journal and reading back that also shows me how my emotions and outlook have changed for the better. Keep up the hard work
